Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Football. This could be the best week of the year. Most of you have already read my Thanksgiving Day NFL picks for this week.
And for those of you following my weekly NFL picks and using them, I went 10 for 10 last week. I made some big money last week and am going to roll it all into this week. I hope all of you were as lucky as I was.
Thanksgiving is here for everyone to spend with your family, giving thanks for the past year, eating turkey and of course watching NFL Thanksgiving day football.
This Thanksgiving not only will you see Detroit (hosting Green Bay) and Dallas (hosting Oakland) play, but the G-Men are visiting the Denver.
Points were a little harder to come by last week as ten games stayed under the total, five games went over, and one game; N.Y. Jets at New England was a push at 45. The biggest shocker by far was the thrilling 38-37 win by Detroit over Cleveland. The Lions scored 40 points combined in their last four games and the Browns have only scored 29 points combined in their last five games.

The Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys rivalry typically produces tight, close contests. That might not be the case this Sunday for a number of reasons.
The Redskins defense has been decent this year and the addition of high-priced defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has had a ripple effect. Last year, the Redskins had just 24 sacks but as they head to Week 11, they already have 24 sacks on the year and are on pace for 45, which is their highest total since 1991.

The Cincinnati Bengals signed running back Larry Johnson on Tuesday. But even with Cedric Benson hurt, Johnson is 3rd on the depth chart behind Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard so he likely isn’t going to get much work with his new team, but provides some veteran insurance if injuries hit at the running back spot.
After two straight weeks of the under bet out pacing the over, the points were once again adding up fast this past week. Nine games went over the total, while six games stayed under. In no big surprise the Patriots- Colts game led the way with 69 total points, while Tennessee took their game over on their own putting 41 points on board against the Bills. Two of the more shocking under games were Green Bay holding the Cowboys to seven points and Cincinnati holding the Steelers to just 12 points.
The switch has been flipped in Dallas and that’s a dangerous thing for what’s starting to be a muddled NFC championship picture. The Cowboys still have to prove that they can string wins together in January, but for now they’re en route to the playoffs. It’s the exact opposite route the Green Bay Packers are taking this season after giving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers their first win of the season.
The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the biggest surprises of the NFL season so far this year. They are 6-2 (and really should be 7-1) and currently sit atop the AFC North. They are a completely revived team with a healthy Chad Ochocinco, a replenished defense and a resurgent Cedric Benson.

Nobody can deny the New England vs. Indianapolis going to be HUGE this Sunday night, not only in deciding the AFC victor but for viewers as well. Will we finally be able to decide without a shadow of a doubt who is the better QB? Brady or Peyton?
But with all the Brady and Peyton talk we can’t forget about 2 other AFC teams that will make the playoffs: The Steelers and Bengals. Pittsburgh hosts Cincinnati this weekend in an AFC North showdown.
Defense was the name of the game this week as several high scoring teams were held in check allowing the under bet to have a slight advantage. Seven games stayed under the total, while six managed to go over. The Saints were held to 30 points keeping their game against Carolina under by two points, the Ravens only scored 7 points against Cincinnati in a game that stayed way under, and Dallas came up big against the Eagles holding them to 16 points in their 20-16 win on Sunday night.
With Week 9 almost a thing of the past – and my uninspiring 6-6 ATS record along with it – now’s the time to take a look ahead at the full slate of games on the docket for Week 10. This review of Week Nine’s contests and glimpse ahead at this week’s upcoming contest, will give NFL bettors the insight they need to make a bunch of winning NFL betting predictions.
NFL Week 9 is here with 2 undefeated teams left. The New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts. And based on their matchups it would seem that they will go undefeated for at least one more week.
The Vikings are on a bye week. The Broncos host the defending Superbowl Champions. A surprisingly strong Miami squad visits New England this week. The Bolts and G-Men face off.
Once again the over bet had the slight advantage as seven games went over the total and six games stayed under. There were a few surprises with the under such as Indianapolis being held to only 18 points by the 49ers and Denver only managing 7 points in their loss to the Ravens. The two hottest teams in the league did not disappoint as the Vikings put up 38 points on the Packers and New Orleans scored 35 against the Falcons helping to take both those games way over the total.
Brett Favre is coming back home… as an enemy; it just doesn’t get much better than this. Sports betting fans should be thrilled because this is the game of the year as Favre and the Vikings visit Lambeau field this week to take on the Packers.
And with 3 teams left undefeated (Saints, Colts, Broncos) will any of them continue this streak after touch matchups this weekend?
