The Giants finished 76-86 just a year after winning the World Series, and that did not sit well with the team’s front office this offseason.

You know you are doing something right when you win two World Series titles in three seasons and the following year you are not even picked to win your division. That is just how Giants’ manager Brian Bochy likes things as his team always performs its best as an underdog.
The San Francisco Giants had a pretty good year last year, but came up eight games short of the division champion Arizona Diamondbacks, ultimately settling for a disappointing second place finish. So how will the Giants do in 2012?
After a long hard fought season, it will be the New England Patriots and the New York Giants in Super Bowl 46. The Giants ruined the Patriots perfect season in Super Bowl XLII. There is no perfect season for the Patriots this time around, but the Giants are still listed as the underdog.

San Francisco is an MLB betting darkhorse in the National League West, which is more of a statement about the weakness of the division than it is about the Giants. San Francisco has a great pitching staff, but unless its finds a way to generate more run support, it could be another long season in the City by the Bay.
