Game 2: Bulls/Celtics + Mavs/Spurs Trends + Odds

NBA: COULD CELTICS, SPURS LOSE AGAIN?

The NBA playoffs started off with a shocker Saturday afternoon and were later followed by another only because of the circumstances.

Merril: Bulls vs. Celtics Game 2 Handicapping

Steve Merril’s NBA Fullcourt Report (Monday, April 20)

Bulls at Celtics (-8, 196) – 7:05 pm ET (TNT)

Tale of Two Teams

The Bulls pulled the upset in Game 1 as an 8½-point underdog and they covered from start to finish as they never trailed by more than five points the entire day.  Chicago became a better team in late February after they acquired John Salmons and Brad Miller from the Kings.  Salmons averages more than 36 minutes per game and finished the regular season ranked second in scoring (17.6 ppg), while Brad Miller averages more than 27 minutes per game and is fifth on the team in scoring (11.8 ppg).

Dodgers vs. Cubs Game 2 MLB Playoffs

Cubs Turn to Zambrano to Tie Series with Dodgers

Okay MLB Sportsbook bettors, I’ll admit that the Chicago Cubs (97-65 SU, 82-74-6 O/U, 83-79 RL) dropped the ball in a big way on Wednesday, losing Game 1 of their NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers (85-78 SU, 74-83-5 O/U, 81-81 RL) 7-2 while simultaneously ruining what would have been a perfect 5-0 MLB wagering day for me.
