The NFC Divisional playoffs feature four teams that boast some of the best Quarterbacks in the NFL. All of the teams have incredible Offenses, well rounded and high scoring. This weekend promises some fireworks for sure, but who will emerge, and face each other for the chance to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl?
The New York Jets slipped into the playoffs thanks to the generosity of their final 2 regular season opponents who rested regulars in favor of backups who proved why they are backups. The San Diego Chargers entered the playoffs as the hottest team in the NFL.
The AFC Divisional Playoffs are upon us pitting two somewhat surprising teams against two that were supposed to be in this position. The Baltimore Ravens play the Indianapolis Colts in a classic Defense Vs. Offense matchup, while the New York Jets and San Diego Chargers tilt is much the same.
This game has all the makings fo a bit of a snoozer doesn’t it? Both teams strengths are running the ball and they will both do so extensively. Similarly, both teams have good run defenses meaning that the punters could see a lot of action.
This matchup is not really a surprise. The fact that it takes place in the first weekend of the playoffs is. The Patriots went into this season odds on favorites to extend their dynasty and dominate the league with a top tier Offense, while the Ravens were supposed to ride the wave of an improving Offense and a rock solid defense.
Ahhh, The rematch!!! This has the potential to be the best of the Wildcard games. The Eagles were totally outclassed in Week 17. Can it happen again?
Ahhh, Another rematch!!! Not unlike the Dallas Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers have owned their Wildcard foes. The Packers have traveled across country twice this season and have pounded the Cardinals – once in the preseason, and once last week.
At 7 pm, our complimentary College Football selection is on the Toledo Rockets minus the points over Eastern Michigan. The Eagles are 0-10 on the season, and will try to break into the win column with an upset over Toledo, which has lost three straight games. In its last time out, the Rockets were blasted 56-28 by Central Michigan, but most teams these days are. Toledo also dropped games to Miami-Ohio and Temple since its 20-19 upset win over Northern Illinois back on October 17.
The 2009 Breeders’ Cup will be run on November 6th and 7th from Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia, Ca. This year’s Cup features 14 races over the two day period with 6 races scheduled for Friday and 8 races slated to run on Saturday. The following is each race and my favorite to win.

Last game out the Nets grabbed a one-sided win over the Magic, winning 103-93 at IZOD Arena Saturday night, and the Bobcats fell 113-106 to the Bulls, as 9.5-point underdogs. The 219 points fell UNDER the posted total of 199.5.

These two teams met earlier in the year at Ford Field. North Carolina dominated the game and won 98-63. Michigan State did not have the services on Goran Suton. Michigan State is not even close to the same team now as they were in December. In the earlier matchup the lone bright spot for MSU was Raymar Morgon which had 21 points on 8-14 shooting.
