Luck, Colts Once Again The Class Of The AFC South
The Indianapolis Colts have opened the Andrew Luck era with back-to-back 11-win seasons and a playoff win over the Kansas City Chiefs a year ago, so it’s easy to understand why expectations of this team are high.
The Indianapolis Colts finished the 2013 season with an 11-5 record. That was good enough for a spot atop the AFC South Division, and it gave them the sixth-best record in the NFL when it was all said and done.
The Colts won’t be very active in the 2014 NFL Draft, as they possess a league-low five picks. Their first selection isn’t until late in the second round and they will have to hunt and peck to find players that can make a contribution on the roster.

Week 16 is over and the playoff picture is as muddy as it was last week – a few of the top contenders lost and in turn failed to cement their position on the Rankings. If I didn’t know better, I would have thought that no team wanted to head into the playoffs on a high.
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Indianapolis Colts at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday in a battle of playoff-bound clubs. Kansas City is coming off a shootout win in their last game, while Indianapolis cruised to an easy win over a division rival.

Week 15 of the NFL season is done and although it didn’t quite provide the drama of Week 14 (except for the end of Monday night’s game) there were still some interesting stories that emerged. How about five of the top six playoff seeds in the NFL losing?
