Not much was expected of Michigan this season, but this team busted out fast, winning games against UCLA and Duke in the first month of the campaign. Of course, that’s not the kind of thing that guarantees success in the Big Ten, as Wisconsin was quick to remind them a week ago when they came to Ann Arbor and left with a 73-61 victory.
Duke has had a hot hand lately, shooting 52% against NC-Asheville, 52.5% against Xavier and 54.5% against Loyola. Against Virginia Tech in its last outing, though, the Blue Devils hit less than 41% of their shots. They won the game with defense, holding the Hokies to just 13 points and 33% shooting in the second half.
The improved Duke Blue Devils (2-1 SU, 2-0 ATS), coming off an upset win a couple of weeks ago, will look to continue their momentum on Saturday when they take on the Virginia Cavaliers (1-2 SU, 0-2 ATS) in an Atlantic Coast Conference college football game that is set to kick off at Noon ET at Wallace Wade Stadium (natural turf) in Durham, NC.
