AFC North Takes center Stage – Steelers Host Bengals on Sunday Night
It’s hard to believe that half way through December and the Steelers are out of the playoff race! But there are still three games remaining for Pittsburgh and one of them comes our way Sunday night against heated, hated rivals Cincinnati who are poised to make the playoffs for the third straight year and look like a lock to win the always-competitive AFC North.
A huge battle in the AFC North that should eliminate the loser from playoff contention. Cincinnati has been owned by the Steelers lately and this would be a very opportune time for the Bengals to break their hold.
Week 12 was another very solid one but again a New York team kept me from going perfect damn Jets. This week I am going to the well once again and have picked out some marquee matchups to hang my hat on.

The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the biggest surprises of the NFL season so far this year. They are 6-2 (and really should be 7-1) and currently sit atop the AFC North. They are a completely revived team with a healthy Chad Ochocinco, a replenished defense and a resurgent Cedric Benson.

Battle at Heinz Field – Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
I’ve never understood “no love lost” because of the context its often used it, but if that saying has had any meaning then it certainly applies to the clash between the Bengals and Steelers this Sunday. With dominance in the AFC North on the line, and a storied rivalry between both teams in the mix, there certainly is no love to be lost in this one…largely because these teams have never liked each other to begin with.

Well, NFL betting sharps, there’s no way around it: we’re in a slump. The Packers and Giants broke our hearts last week. Maybe our luck will reverse in honor of Friday the 13th this weekend.
Let’s get back on the NFL picks horse.
If you can’t run with the big dogs, the expression goes, then stay on the porch.
In Cincinnati, the Bengals have shown through the first half of the NFL season that they are capable of keeping up with the big guns of the NFL. They stand at 6-2 and share the AFC North lead with the Steelers. Every one of their opponents this season, with the exception of the Browns, is now at .500 or better.
Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Willie Parker could be the key to their Thursday night game against Cincinnati as well as to big payoffs in a number of proposition odds.
The Steelers are 11-point favorites against the Bengals with the Over/Under just 34.5. The game is being broadcast on the NFL Network beginning at 8:15 pm ET. There is about an even split betting wise with 48% backing the home team.
The Bengals travel to Pittsburgh to take on their hated rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers. For the Bengals things haven’t been going very well this season. They are coming off of a very good tie versus the Philadelphia Eagles, but the thing is that the Bengals caused the Eagles to commit four turnovers but they couldn’t capitalize on any of them. They ended up tying the Eagles at 13 to 13.
Pittsburgh will try to hold on to its one game division lead this Thursday night on the NFL Network when the Steelers (7-3 SU, 4-6 ATS) host the Cincinnati Bengals (1-8-1 SU, 4-6 ATS) the week after both teams played in very unique sports betting games.
