At the end of every season, fifty AP writers sit down and vote for the most valuable player in the NFL. They vote for which player they believe had the biggest impact on their team’s performance that year. In 2008 Peyton Manning ran away with the award with 32 first place votes as he battled back from injury and a slow start to lead his team to an improbable 12-4 record.
