NFL Odds to Win the Super Bowl

The NFL Playoff fields are set with the New York Giants being a prohibitive online betting favorite to win their second straight Super Bowl.

How big of a favorite are the G-Men? They’re + 250 in the BetUS online sportsbook while the second choice, the Tennessee Titans, are a full + 500. That’s a + 250 difference!

It’s a big difference because an extra one-hundred and fifty for every hundred bucks could seriously make or break any NFL betting fan.

Of course, there are 12 teams in the NFL Playoffs and every single one of them is offering online odds to football betting fans to win the Super Bowl!

Why take a breather? Let’s go through the chances of all 12!

But you’d better hurry online betting fans because the Wild Card round is this Saturday and Sunday!

NFL Playoff Super Bowl Betting Odds and Teams

1. Arizona Cardinals – – online betting odds + 4000 – – The Cardinals are the longest shot on the board. They should be. They finished the season by losing four out of their last five games, their quarterback is old, and their defense is horrid. One and done.

2. Atlanta Falcons – – online betting odds + 2000 – – The Falcons are one of the best long-shots in the BetUS online sportsbook. Why? They have a good quarterback in Matt Ryan, one of the best running backs in the league in Michael Turner, and a solid defense.

3. Baltimore Ravens – – online betting odds + 1200 – – The Ravens are hot. They won’t win it because the AFC is too competitive and Joe Flacco is a rookie but they deserve the short + 1200 online odds.

4. Carolina Panthers – – online betting odds + 600 – – I see these guys as an underlay. They have the team but they peaked in that game against the Giants. They’re too inconsistent for my tastes.

5. Indianapolis Colts – – online betting odds + 800 – – This is the most consistent team in the NFL right now after their tenth straight victory. They should keep it going on the road against the Chargers on Sunday but after that things get tough. They won’t be able to play at home during the entire playoffs. That could hurt them.

6. Miami Dolphins – – online betting odds + 2800 – – The Fins are the long shot team in the AFC Conference. They have the running game, quarterback, and defense. Those are the three things you need to make it to the Super Bowl.

7. Minnesota Vikings – – online betting odds + 2800 – – Their chances are terrible because neither Tarvaris Jackson nor Gus Frerotte will be able to handle that Eagles’ pressure this Sunday. Another one and done team.

8. New York Giants – – online betting odds + 250 – – I like their chances but I can’t endorse at the low BetUS online wagering odds. Football betting fans should look for value from another team. It’s hard to repeat in the NFL.

9. Philadelphia Eagles – – online betting odds + 1200 – – This is the bet in the NFC for now. They are going off at double-digit odds, have the quarterback, their defense is playing lights out, and both Corell Buckhalter and Brian Westbrook, their two running backs, are healthy. I love the Eagles in the NFC.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers – – online betting odds + 550 – – I was expecting higher BetUS online odds but I’ll take the + 550 because the Steel Men are the toughest, grittiest team in the AFC Conference. They won’t let Tennessee beat them like a drum again.

11. San Diego Chargers – – online betting odds + 1200 – – They’re another team that’s peaking at the right time, but the online wagering odds make them an underlay because their defensive backfield is terrible. Peyton Manning, Dallas Clark, Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne should light them up this Sunday.

12. Tennessee Titans – – online betting odds + 500 – – They are the underlay of the bunch. I just can’t believe that their pound it out style, lack of wide receiver depth, and tired defense can muster enough to get them to the Super Bowl. Yes, I’m a huge Jeff Fischer fan, but I’m not sold on these guys.

Looking Forward: What Happens After the Wild-Card Round?

Okay, in the AFC I see the Colts beating the Chargers which means they travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers because I also see the Miami Dolphins, as online wagering underdogs, beating the Baltimore Ravens.

So round two should be the Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins vs. Tennessee Titans.

I haven’t decided who wins in either match-up but the BetUS online sportsbook betting favorites should be the Titans and Colts. The Colts will be so impressive this Sunday in San Diego that the BetUS odds makers will have to make them the favorites.

In the NFC I see the Philadelphia Eagles pummeling the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons destroying the Arizona Cardinals. Under that scenario, the Eagles would travel to New York to take on the Giants and the Falcons would travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers.

Here’s something wild – – even though I haven’t made my mind up on how I would bet either game, I do have to say that both the Falcons and Eagles would have huge shots to win. Could you imagine an NFC Championship game in Atlanta a year after the Michael Vick fiasco? I already am!

Both games, an Eagles/Giants match-up and a Falcons/Panthers match-up, would be great online betting opportunities for NFL betting fans because all four teams split their divisional games this season.
