First Patriots Player to score TD – Rob Gronkowski +300

The odds are much greater that the Patriots pass for a touchdown, rather than run for it. With that being said, eliminating the running backs from betting options is the way to go to start.

That other possible outcomes here would be Julian Edelman, who has played a giant part in the Patriots playoff offense, or Danny Amendola. Both offer high odds and could have some potential value.

However, Gronk offers some value with 3-1 odds and if the Patriots get inside the redzone, Brady will be his first and main target.

Gronkowski has caught a touchdown in both Patriots playoff games and has been a consistent target on the slant route, especially in goal-to-go situations.

The Patriots will line him up in the slot, so he won’t have one of the better cornerbacks on him. With a mismatch opportunity, Gronk is the a prime candidate to find the end zone first and get the Patriots off and running.

Any of the receivers offer a chance to cash this prop. Tom Brady has shown that he wants to find Edelman for the deep ball over the top throughout the entire playoffs. But when it comes down to it, taking Gronkowski is probably the safest and has the best chance to cash.
