NFL Betting – Super Bowl Futures Odds Update

NFL Football betting fans sure are getting their money’s worth from the free nfl picks from Capperspicks.com.

As the biggest sport in the betting industry, NFL football never truly rests. That’s why we’re already looking ahead at 2010-11 Super Bowl futures. Who has the inside track?

NFL Betting – 2010-11 Super Bowl Futures

TOP CONTENDERS

Indianapolis Colts (+825)

Indy could use a linebacker upgrade – Joey Porter just made himself available! – but it’s already developing a run stuffer in Fili Moala. Aside from that, the Colts didn’t do anything wrong in 2009. They still have a dominant passing game with Peyton Manning and their rushing offense should improve as Donald Brown matures. They’re still the frontrunner for next year.

San Diego Chargers (+825)

Phil Rivers leads a young powerhouse passing offense and the Chargers defend the pass well. But they need to improve their run “D” and probably need a more reliable every-down back with LaDainian Tomlinson over the hill. They’re a less mature Indianapolis.

New Orleans Saints (+1015)

Everything came together in 2009 and the offense should dominate again next year, as no major contributor is deep into his thirties. The Saints need to improve defensively, however. Also – will they retain Reggie Bush or send him packing?

Minnesota Vikings (+1015)

It feels like the Vikings are “old” because of Brett Favre but their other offensive playmakers are young as can be – Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Adrian Peterson and so on. If Favre retires, expect to see Donovan McNabb in purple next year. The Vikes will contend again.

STOCK RISING

Pittsburgh Steelers (+1215)

If the Steelers have taught us anything over the last five years, it’s that their Super Bowl hangover only lasts one season. Great passing attack, powerhouse runner in Rashard Mendenhall, talented defense with Troy Polamalu returning…look out.

Green Bay Packers (+1615)

If I could only pick one team for the next decade, Green Bay would be it. The Pack have a franchise quarterback in Aaron Rodgers and GM Ted Thompson has assembled some formidable athletes on defense. They need to draft a corner, however.

Baltimore Ravens (+2550)

The aging defense is a bit worrisome but Joe Flacco continues to grow as a passer and Ray Rice could win an MVP award as early as next season. The Ravens must find a receiver in the offseason, however. How about Brandon Marshall?

STOCK FALLING

New England Patriots (+1015)

Tom Brady aging, Randy Moss bum shoulder, Wes Welker torn ACL…explain to me again why the Pats have better Super Bowl XLV odds than Pittsburgh?

Philadelphia Eagles (+2550)

Donovan McNabb may wind up in a new uniform and LeSean McCoy may not be an every-down back after all. Philly still has young playmakers on offense but too many question marks at two key positions.

Arizona Cardinals (+3550)

Can Matt Leinart be a viable NFL starter? Maybe, but we have to view 2010 almost like his “sophomore” season. Arizona will regress.
