Baltimore (+3) could be undefeated at 3-0 if they didn’t blow a lead at Pittsburgh this past Monday night. Both of these teams are extremely physical and oddsmakers expect a low scoring game with the Over/Under set at 35.

The Indianapolis Colts are giving just three-points at Houston this week. This is the 0-3 Texans first home game because of Hurricane Ike, but it remains to be seen if the raucous home crowd can spur the team to victory over Peyton Manning and company.

San Diego looks to make it three straight wins after starting 0-2. The Bolts are giving 6 ½-points at a Miami team that is rested and starting to believe they can make some noise this year.

Carolina (3-1) is almost halfway to their 2007 win total of seven. They are 9 ½-point home favorites against Kansas City which looks like another win, but they can’t afford to look ahead to Tampa Bay next week if they want to cover that large number.

The Washington Redskins getting 5 ½-points at Philadelphia in another of a long line of great NFC East matchups. Washington shocked Dallas last week on the road and it could be too much to expect the same result on Sunday.

Chicago is 3 ½-point chalk at winless Detroit this week. The Lions hope the firing of GM Matt Millen provides a spark to the team coming out of the break, but nothing else certainly has so far this season.

The New York Giants come off the bye-week at 3-0 and get Seattle at home. In their last game, New York needed overtime to beat lowly Cincinnati at the Meadowlands and will have to play much better this week against the Seahawks, giving seven-points.

Tampa Bay getting three-points at Denver is a great battle of the AFC versus NFC. The Broncos are still smarting from their loss at Kansas City, but can Tampa match points with this Broncos offense in what’s expected to be a high scoring affair (O/U 48 points)?

The New England Patriots are giving three points at San Francisco after getting blown out by Miami weeks ago. That spread seems a little low considering Coach Bill Belichick is extremely dangerous with the extra week to prepare.

The Buffalo Bills are 4-0 so why are they getting one-point at Arizona? The answer is the Bills are still considered questionable on the road and Arizona will be looking to make a statement after playing consecutive games on the East Coast.

Pittsburgh is coming off a big win over Baltimore on MNF, but they are banged up in addition to dealing with the short week. The Steelers are four-point dogs at a Jacksonville team that has won two straight after dropping their first two.

New Orleans is three-point home chalk over Minnesota on Monday night. Gus Frerotte has steadied the quarterback position for the Vikings but they need to start winning some games at 1-3.
