CFB Week 10 Lines – Betting Odds

The ‘World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party’ is this weekend, and this is a game of gigantic proportions as both SEC East squads are 4-1 in the division. A win very likely means a trip to the SEC title game where #2 Alabama should be waiting.

NCAAF: SEC TITLE BID ON THE LINE

It may not be officially known as the ‘World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party’ anymore, but the game between the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs is as big as ever.

Georgia (7-1) has moved to 6th in the BCS Standings after a big 52-38 win at LSU. Florida (6-1) is 8th in the BCS after their second consecutive blowout win, this one 63-5 against Kentucky.

As per tradition, this game is being played in the neutral location of Jacksonville, and the Gators have been installed as 5 ½-point favorites. This is just one of the Week 10 early lines you can find at Sportsbook.com.

This is a game of gigantic proportions as both SEC East squads are 4-1 in the division and a win very likely means a trip to the SEC title game where #2 Alabama should be waiting. The winner also gets to keep their national title hopes.

Last year during this matchup, Georgia running back Knowshon Moreno rushed for 188 yards in a 42-30 win. Historically though, Florida has dominated by winning 15 of the last 18, with Georgia coach Mark Richt 2-5 in his seven tries.

Texas (8-0) remains the nation’s number one team after surviving Oklahoma State, 28-24. Quarterback Colt McCoy continued his ungodly completion percentage by going 38-45 (84.4%) for 391 yards. McCoy though proved he was human in the second half with an interception and a fumble and Texas was fortunate to win.

The Longhorns now play their fourth consecutive highly ranked team as they travel to #7 Texas Tech as six-point favorites. The Red Raiders are 8-0 on the year and coming off their best win of the season, 63-21 at Kansas.

This is a night game in Lubbock, Texas and Tech has the top ranked passing attack in the nation with quarterback Graham Harrell and receiver Michael Crabtree leading the way. If the Longhorns have a weakness, it’s their pass defense ranked 110th in the nation, so don’t discount the chances of an upset.

There are four teams standing right behind Texas that are praying for a loss this week. #2 Alabama (minus 24-points) has an easy one against Arkansas State, while #3 Penn State has a bye coming off their huge win at Ohio State.

The #4 Oklahoma Sooners are a 21 ½-point favorite at home over arch-rival Nebraska, while #5 USC is incredible 43-point chalk as they host Washington.

In the ACC, #15 Florida State has moved to the head of the class after beating Virginia Tech, 30-20 for their fourth-straight win. They have another tough game this week at underrated Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are 1 ½-point dogs as they try to rebound from a 24-17 loss to Virginia as 14-point favorites.

The Thursday night game is #23 South Florida (-2.5) at Cincinnati. The Big East has been a punch line in college football all year with South Florida the only Top 25 team after Pittsburgh lost to Rutgers 54-34.

South Florida lost last week at Louisville 24-20 but they were able to stay in the Top 25. The conference race is still wide open and Cincinnati is a dangerous place to play.
