The NFL season starts in exactly three months and three weeks, but football betting fans can place bets now as betED.com has posted odds for Week 1 matchups.
The online sportsbook has released betting lines for all 16 games in the opening week of the 2010-11 National Football League season, which kicks off Thursday, Sept. 9 with the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints hosting the Minnesota Vikings.
In a rematch of their thrilling NFC Championship game, the Saints are 5.5-point favorites and the over/under total is 51.5 in NFL Odds at betED.com. 
In January, the Saints won their first-ever conference title by beating Minnesota 31-28 thanks to a 40-yard field goal by Garrett Hartley 4:45 into overtime. New Orleans went on to upset the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in Super Bowl XLIV.
On the first Sunday of Week 1, the New York Giants will try to rebound from a disappointing 2009 campaign when they host the Carolina Panthers. The Giants are 7-point favorites and the total is 40.
Also on tap Sunday is a NFC North battle between old-time rivals Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. The Bears are 7-point favorites and the over/under is 42 in NFL Betting at betED.com.
In Philadelphia, the Eagles will host the Green Bay packers, with the Eagles a slim 1-point favorite and the total at 45.
The first Monday Night Football of the season features the traditional Week 1 doubleheader, with the New York Jets 3-point homes favorites against the Baltimore Ravens, and the San Diego Chargers 5-point road faves at the Kansas City Chiefs.
