NFL: PROP OFFERS MARGIN FOR ERROR

The Sunday night game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants will pay for big for those who can predict the final score.

Our ‘Margin of Victory’ prop is very interesting for this game as it closely reflects the point spread in which the Cowboys are favored by three-points at Sportsbook.com. So far, only 32% of the betting public likes the favored Cowboys.

A close examination of the ‘Margin of Victory’ prop reveals that Dallas winning by 1-3 points is the favorite at 7:2 odds. The Giants winning by 1-3 points is 4:1, and Dallas winning by 4-6 points is 11:2.

The only downside of a prop like this is sometimes you have the final score completely nailed and then a score within the last minute ruins everything. However, with our Primetime Propthis week, you will be insured if this happens.

Bet on the ‘Margin of Victory’ prop for this game and it loses due to the last score of the game which occurs within the last minute of the game, your stake will be refunded up to $100.00 for this specific prop.

The Primetime Prop has already hit nine times this season including twice in the Monday night game last week when Tampa Bay wide receiver Antonio Bryant and Carolina running back DeAngelo Williams each scored two touchdowns and neither player scored the first TD in Carolina’s 38-23 win.

This Sunday night game should be lower scoring than that, but still a potential barnburner with the Over/Under set at 45 points.

That’s because both Tony Romo and Eli Manning are going to be relied upon to generate points. The need for the quarterbacks will be even greater if running backs Marion Barber (Dallas) and Brandon Jacobs (Giants) have to sit out with their respective injuries. Barber is the more likely of the two to play.

Dallas (8-5) looked great in their first three games after Romo returned from his finger injury, going 3-0 straight-up and ATS. Dallas should have won at Pittsburgh last week in the cold weather but they collapsed late in the fourth quarter, getting outscored 17-0 in a 20-13 loss.

Manning had a poor game in their home loss last week versus Philadelphia. He only had 123 yards through the air, the lowest of the season, and the Giants want to redeem themselves after suffering only their second loss of the season (11-2, 10-3 ATS).

Both quarterbacks will be happy to play in the nice weather and whoever has the better day should win this game. Romo does have more receiving weapons than Manning at this point with Plaxico Burress out for the year.

Each quarterback will be harassed by very good pass rushes, and they will have to make plays outside of the pocket.

The Cowboys are in the more desperate situation as a loss could mean them not making the playoffs, and that along with the home field is why they’re the field goal favorites.
