NFL news: Rex Ryan’s wife in foot fetish videos? Terrell Owens, Austin Collie out for season

Rex Ryan’s wife in foot fetish videos?

This is a weird one. For the record, we’re NOT saying that there’s anything wrong with foot fetishes or foot fetish videos for that matter. We’re just saying it’s, er, interesting that New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan’s wife may or may not be the star of popular online foot fetish videos.

A YouTube user named “ihaveprettyfeet” made a name for herself over the last few years by posting videos of herself barefoot, in stockings, in heels and generally doing things to accentuate her feet. She became popular enough that YouTube banned the account. Looking at the videos, then at a picture of Rex’s wife, Michelle – Miss ihaveprettyfeet either is Michelle Ryan or Michelle Ryan’s long lost twin. Cool.

Terrell Owens had surgery this week to repair torn knee cartilage and is out for the season. With 72 catches for 983 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games for Cincinnati on a one-year deal , T.O. should have no problem finding a job after he recovers.

Another receiver is done for 2010: Austin Collie. The Colts’ go-to possession receiver took yet another devastating hit and suffered another concussion against Jacksonville last Sunday. He leads the Colts in touchdown catches with eight despite missing five games this year already.

NBA news: Nets closing in on Carmelo Anthony deal; Kobe Bryant ejected

With each day, it seems the New Jersey Nets are close to landing Carmelo Anthony and signing him to a long-term deal. Melo has openly suggested he’s willing to become a Net at this point – but not without some immediate help arriving with him in the deal. That could mean Al Harrington and others coming with him from the Nuggets. Sources suggest a deal may not happen until January, however, and it’s still possible that a third team could get involved to complete the deal.

Kobe Bryant, ejected? That’s not something you read about every day. He was tossed from the Lakers’ loss to Milwaukee last night after he committed an offensive foul and earned two technicals after that.

NCAA football news: Chip Kelly named Coach of the Year; LSU running back Ridley to miss bowl?

It wasn’t a landslide win but it wasn’t a huge surprise, either. Any man who coaches a team to an undefeated season and No. 1 national ranking is a solid bet to win AP Coach of the Year. The Award went to Oregon’s Chip Kelly, who edged Auburn’s Gene Chizik. The two will meet in the BCS title game next month.

Could LSU be without its top rusher against Texas in the Cotton Bowl next month? Running back Stevan Ridley has a one-time academic violation that could render him ineligible for the Cotton Bowl. The Tigers are appealing to the NCAA. He has 1,044 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns this season.
