Premier League darlings, Manchester United come up against a side that is on the up in the sports betting market when they make the trek to Tottenham on Saturday. Tottenham Hotspurs +350: Based on current performance (over the last six matches) Hotspurs are third in form in the Premiership league. They are one of the more improved sides and they are reaping the rewards for it. Though they are still hovering in the bottom half of the table they are only three points away from a possible berth in the top ten (the middle of the table is a cluster of eight clubs separated by a handful of points). A home win for the Spurs would surely catapult them to a position more befitting their current performance.
Manchester United -120: The Red Devils have shown occasional brilliance but some vulnerability. That is not unlike them though as they typically get stronger deeper into the season. At home, they have won the last six fixtures and hauled a maximum of points. On the road, they have not put forward a consummate performance, going 2-3-1, taking only nine out of 18 points.
Soccer Betting Verdict: As both teams are looking good right now, this should be one of the more entertaining matches over the weekend. The win could go either way but in terms of a betting perspective, the odds on a home win are more attractive so I would recommend taking the Spurs. In fact, they are a bit of a steal and hugely underestimated at +350. Spurs will not be afraid to attack and will try to thwart the Red Devils. Man U is anxious to close in on the top duo of Chelsea FC and Liverpool so they will be desperate for the three points as well but at -120 odds, taking them on the money line is not going to be a lucrative risk.
