The best part of the result was the fact that Neymar found the back of the net twice.
At his best he can be just as good as any player in the world and if Brazil is going to come through with a championship he is going to have to be. Based on reputation Mexico should be a stiffer test.
Brazil should be more relaxed though having gotten the first game out of the way without harm.
There is not going to be any value taking Brazil to win in the group stage, perhaps not in the entire tournament.
If you want to back them I say go with the total. We know this team is loaded with talented players and playing in front of their home fans they will want to put on a show.
Or get creative with some of the other numerous wager option available for the World Cup. The options are almost endless.

Mexico
El Tri has one of the most storied histories but that hasn’t helped them much of late.
They get rid of their coach at the drop of a hat and needed to best New Zealand just to make the World Cup in additional qualifying. Thankfully they were able to get past Cameroon in their opener, 1-0.
A loss might have forced them to fire their coach even before the group stage was over. Now they have the luxury of facing host Brazil. Nobody is giving them a chance to win.
They are 10-22-6 against the hosts.
At other points in time this would be a highly sought match and there would be little chance of getting +900 on Mexico. Of course their chances of winning are slim but that kind of payoff is always going to be a little intriguing.
If Mexico can somehow strike first they will definitely go into a very defensive mode and hope to grind out the win or the draw. That is a huge if right now. That play can only be speculation.
One wager I starting to like more and more with this world cup is picking the winning club and betting them to win to nil. Twice I cashed tickets like that over the weekend and I think this could be a good spot for that kind of bet.
Also a good one here is a halftime/fulltime wager on Brazil.
