The biggest issue for the 2-2 Packers is clearly protecting Aaron Rodgers, who was sacked eight times in that game and 20 times in just four games this season.
The Detroit Lions got a back door cover at home versus Pittsburgh Sunday and were competitive against the defending Super Bowl champions. Traditionally, Detroit struggles at Lambeau Field and have not won there since 1991. That is alarming when you take into account that Detroit plays there every year.

Detroit will need to do everything right to have a shot on the road. [soliloquy id=”82219″]They will need to find a way to put a lot of pressure on Rodgers, who is vulnerable to the sack. Detroit will need to find a way to create turnovers and score on defense.
Detroit is just not a good road team, giving up over 46 points per game away from home and will need to drastically improve. On offense the Lions will also need a healthy Calvin Johnson after their stud receiver was injured in their loss to Pittsburgh last week. While the Lions have been more competitive this season, it’s hard to envision anything but a lop-sided Packers victory.

The Packers are getting healthy and should have no trouble racking up points against a bad Detroit defense. For a second straight season Rodgers has put up excellent offensive numbers posting a 101.1 quarterback rating and throwing just one interception all season.
Green Bay will be prepared off the bye and should not suffer any sort of a letdown. The Packers have covered in seven of their last nine games in the division and have the advantage in every aspect of this match up. This should also be a game where Ryan Grant should get back on track running the ball. If you have any offensive Packers on your fantasy team you can expect a big week.

Hard to believe this game turns out to be anything but a Packers dominating victory. Points should also be scored in bunches when you consider the over is 15-4 in Green Bay’s last 19 games as a favorite. The Lions have also gone over the total in 21 of their last 27 games on the road.
After tough divisional games against Chicago and Minnesota, Green Bay must take advantage of inferior opponents and win convincingly. Double-digit favorites have been very successful so far this season and that trend should continue.

THe Lions have been in every game this season in the first half. Mistakes and turnovers in the second half have led their undoing. Daunte Culpepper gets the start for injured QB Matthew Stafford which could be enough to keep this game close.
