Tampa Bay vs. Carolina Monday Night Football Spread

Point spread for the week 14 Monday Night Football NFL clash between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for nfl football gambling…

NFL Monday Preview – Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Carolina Panthers on Monday night in a game that could decide the winner of the NFC South Division. The Bucs and Panthers are both 9 and 3 straight-up. They are both two games ahead of the Atlanta Falcons and three games ahead of the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South.

Online betting fans will note that the Bucs beat the Panthers the last time these two teams faced rather handily 27 to 3. Will there be a difference in this game tonight?

Let’s get to it!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers
Kick-off: 8:35 pm est.

Against the Spread: Bucs + 3
BetUS Money Line: Bucs + 150
BetUS Total: Under 38

Against the Spread: This is almost a no-brainer in my book. The Buccaneers are underdogs on the road but coach John Gruden knows exactly what to call against that Panthers defense and defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin knows what schemes to call to confuse Panthers’ QB Jake Delhomme. If you take away wide receiver Steve Smith, then you beat the Carolina Panthers. That’s what the Bucs will do. They should easily beat the BetUS online sportsbook betting spread of 3 points.

BetUS Money Line: I see Tampa Bay beating the Panthers straight-up in this game because Tampa is a terrific road team and are more consistent than the up and down Panthers. Carolina has a lot of talent on offense and defense but nobody is better at game planning than Jon Gruden. The trends don’t favor either team and getting 50 dollars above even money is terrific to me. So, I’ll be making an online NFL bet on the Bucs to win this straight-up. I see it being a close game but a key defensive play in the fourth quarter should change things.

BetUS Total: The Bucs are terrific at shutting down Jake Delhomme. They always have been and coach Jon Gruden will want to eat up as much of the clock as possible when Tampa has the ball. They will use their running backs, throw the ball short, and just hog the pig skin for most of this game. When Carolina has the ball, expect underrated linebacker Barrett Rudd to go after Delhomme and try to disrupt the timing that Jake has with future hall of fame wide receiver Steve Smith. That will be the key in this game. I have no doubt that the Bucs do that.

Monday Night Football Prediction:

So, I’ll be making an online bet that this game goes under.

Good Luck!
