Cowboys vs. Rams Week 7 Spread

Point spread for the week 7 NFL clash between the Dallas Cowboys and the St. Louis Rams plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for nfl football gambling.

NFL Week 7 Betting Trends – Dallas Cowboys vs. St. Louis Rams

The Dallas Cowboys travel to St. Louis to take on a Rams team that won their first game of the season last Sunday. The Rams were 13 ½ point online betting underdogs at Washington. What did they do? They simply marched onto the field and beat the Redskins without scoring a single point on offense.

I guess a victory against the online betting spread was in the cards for the St. Louis Rams! Things could get tougher for them this Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys come to town. The Cowboys have a good defense and very good offense.

Of course, the Cowboys could struggle in this game. Why? Because one of their starting cornerbacks, Adam “Pacman” Jones, has been suspended from the NFL indefinitely by Commissioner Roger Goodell. Another reason they might struggle is because it’s still up in the air on whether or not quarterback Tony Romo will play.

Mrs. Jessica Simpson said today that he would play this Sunday, but the Cowboys aren’t so sure. Even if Romo does play, will he be able to get through an entire game with a busted pinkie?

Here are the BetUS Sportsbook online NFL odds for this game.

Dallas Cowboys – 7 ½ – 110 – 300 O 43 – 110
St. Louis Rams + 7 ½ – 110 + 250 U 43 – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.

The Dallas Cowboys are 2 and 9 against the spread in their last 11 games overall.
The Dallas Cowboys are 1 and 8 against the spread in their last 9 games versus a rival from the NFC Conference.
The St. Louis Rams are 5 and 17 against the spread versus a team with a winning record.
The St. Louis Rams are 7 and 3 against the spread in their last 10 games following a straight-up win.

If Romo plays the Rams should be toast against the BetUS online betting spread, right? I mean, the Rams have no chance, right?

Actually, I like the Rams in this game. I’m not sure if they are good enough to win, but they should play well enough to make it close. The Rams have a decent defense and terrific special teams. If they could get running back Stephen Jackson going, they might actually have a shot to upset the ‘Boys.

Dallas just traded for wide receiver Roy Williams. Williams is fantastic, but how is Terrell Owens going to feel? The guy has a very thin skin.

In any case, I don’t believe an ineffective Tony Romo is going to do much to get Williams into the Cowboys’ offense that quickly. So, T.O. will get plenty of chances to drop some passes this Sunday.

I’ll take the home dog in this game. My online betting dollars will be on the Rams to beat the spread.
