Point spread for the week 15 college football clash between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Florida Gators, plus the betting spreads, and betting trends for ncaa football gambling…

NCAAF SEC Championship Game – Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Florida Gators

The SEC Championship game is finally here. The winner of this game no doubt will garner a spot in the BCS Championship on January 8th. The Alabama Crimson Tide is currently 12 and 0 straight-up and ranked number one in the country. From a sports betting point-of-view, the Crimson Tide have been terrific going 9 and 3 against the BetUS online betting spread. They don’t have a lot of superstar names on their roster, but they play a great brand of offense and their defense is easily one of the best in the nation.

The Florida Gators have been playing lights out since their early season loss to Ole Miss. It’s turned out that the Ole Miss Runnin’ Rebels are a pretty good football team. So, the Gators’ loss earlier in the season doesn’t mean that they aren’t worthy of being in this game. Florida is easily one of the fastest teams I have ever seen on the college football field. They are a BetUS online sportsbook football betting fans’ dream going 11 and 1 straight-up and 9 and 2 against the BetUS online wagering spread.

Here are the BetUS online betting odds for this game.

Alabama Crimson Tide + 9 ½ – 110 + 290 O 51 ½ – 110
Florida Gators – 9 ½ – 110 – 350 U 51 ½ – 110

Here are a few online wagering trends that might help us find a good online bet in this game.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are 5 and 0 against the spread in their last 5 games overall.
The Under is 6 and 1 in the Alabama Crimson Tide’ last 7 games overall.
The Florida Gators are 14 and 3 against the spread in their last 17 games against a team with a winning record.
The Over is 5 and 0 in the Florida Gators last 5 games at a neutral site.

The Florida Gators have been playing better than any other team in football the past month or so. Since the loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, last year’s Heisman Trophy winner, quarterback Tim Tebow, has taken it upon himself to make sure the Gators win.

They have. They’ve been spectacular but Alabama is the number one team in the nation. The Crimson Tide is as tough of a team that I’ve seen in a long time in college football.

Both teams are excellent against the spread. Both teams have good offenses and both teams have good defenses. In Alabama’s case, they have a fantastic defense.

So which way am I going in this game? I just can’t make an online bet on the Florida Gators to cover 9 ½ point. The BetUS online sportsbook odds makers have faith in the Gators because the online betting odds opened at 10 points.

But college football betting fans know better. In college football emotion means as much as anything. The Crimson Tide will come into this game fired up and their coach, Nick Saban, is as good as anybody in the nation at game planning.

SEC Championship Prediction:

I’m not sure if Alabama will win this game straight-up but I am pretty confident that they will beat the BetUS online wagering spread of 9 ½ points.
