Golf Betting – PGA Tour Four-Pack

While most people are shifting their focus to the NHL trade deadline day on Wednesday, the PGA Tour is rolling through Palm Beach with the Honda Classic.

Here are some picks for golfers who can win it all:

Sergio Garcia

Sergio Garcia is a brand name but he clearly doesn’t win as much as we all thought he would when he first burst onto the scene. But Garcia played well last week at the Accenture Matchplay last week and finished in fourth place, which is inspiring for online betting cappers who were thinking of backing him.

He’s never won this event but does have a very good history. He finished in 13th last year but some better putting could have easily gotten him the win.

Ernie Els

Look who is back. You wouldn’t think much of Ernie Els prior to the start of the year but how about a couple of Top 10 finishes, including a tie for fifth at the Farmer’s Insurance Classic. He has a fairly good track record in Florida, which is one reason to pick him, but he is also a previous winner in this tournament.

The bottom line is that he’s playing well right now and he’s more than capable of winning.

Steve Marino

People looking for some golf betting tips should take a look at Steve Marino.

He’s come close on a number of times on the Tour but obviously hasn’t done a ton of winning. This year, he has come close a couple of times with a fourth-place at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and a fifth-place finish at the Northern Trust Open respectively.

Long shot? Yes, but he is worth a small play. Two top-fives in his last three events indicate that he’s getting close.

Camillo Villegas

Villegas is a Florida native and as we all know, usually that gives him more than just a home-court advantage. Villegas has played in a couple of Tour events this year and so far, he has a third and an eight-place finish. The eighth came at the Waste Management Open last week where he pulled in a cool $156,000.

He showed a lot of promise in his rookie season and while he struggled last year, he appears to be back on the right track. Don’t be surprised if he’s near the top of the leaderboard or leading it on Sunday.
