PGA Betting – 2012 Justin Timberlake Shriners Predictions
Well it is going to be impossible to match the drama seen last week at the Ryder Cup but the golf world must move on. This week, players not included in last week’s showdown will duke it out at TPC Summerlin, a traditionally easy course for the TOUR pros.

There are a few big names, a few that made some noise during the recent FedEx Playoffs and some players desperate to get in the top 125 on the money list so as to automatically qualify for the TOUR next season.
Let’s take a look at some names to watch out for this week and what should play out with this watered-down field.
The Favorites:
Nick WATNEY 12/1
The Las Vegas resident is the most accomplished player in the watered-down field this week and has a good history at this event – second last year and T6 in 2010. He loves this course and should contend at very least against a weaker field this week.
Ryan MOORE 12/1
Played his college golf at UNLV and ended the FedExCup Playoffs with three straight top 10s. He is the hottest golfer in the field this week and looks like one of the two to beat.
Robert GARRIGUS 18/1
Loves this event having made the cut six straight times here. He, like Moore played well in the FedEx Cup with two top 10’s to close it out. Garrigus finished T 16 here last year and will be looking to build on that effort.
The Contenders:
Scott PIERCY 20/1
Is another local looking to make good of his home town advantage. He qualified for the TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola meaning that he was one of the Top 30. That means something. Piercy was knocking on the door all season long and could be a factor again this week.
Vijay SINGH 25/1
Has three top 10s in his last six starts overall including an 8th in the BMW four weeks ago. He started the season slowly but has come on as the season draws to a close. Undoubtedly the most experienced in the field, it is hard not to like Vijay’s chances this week.
Kevin Na 25/1
Is the defending champion here and has been inconsistent to say the least so far in 2012. But when he puts it all together Na is certainly a force. That said he is a tad inconsistent to trust this week.
Ryan PALMER 30/1
Ranks 99th on the PGA TOUR in greens hit, but 18th in par breakers. Of his 14 cuts made this season, nine have gone for top 25s, including a T24 at The Barclays. Shared eighth place at the JT Shriners in his last appearance in 2010.
KYLE STANLEY 40/1
Is 29th on TOUR in Greens in Regulation and finished T10 here last year. Stanley is another one of those third tier guys that could make some noise this week.
CHAD CAMPBELL 40/1
Is another UNLV alum looking to make good in familiar surroundings. He loves this event making the cut in eight straight appearances including four top 25s in his last six tries here. Campbell hasn’t had the greatest season but he did have a T4 at the Wyndham Championship in August.
The Sleepers:
KEVIN STADLER 50/1
Played well in the FedEx Playoffs with two top 10s in the first two events. He is 25th on the PGA TOUR in greens in regulation and was T23 here last year. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
David HEARN 60/1
Hearn made some noise in the FedEx Playoffs and has played his best golf toward the end of the season. He finished T5 here last year when he led the field in greens in regulation and played his final 33 holes in bogey-free 12 under.
The Pick:
My pick this week is Ryan Moore at 12/1. He was one of the more consistent golfers down the stretch and was knocking on the door before the last couple of weeks. This week he breaks through.
My sleeper is David Hearn at 60/1. He like Moore looked good in the FedEx Playoff and is playing the best golf of his career.
