Game 6 Stanley Cup Finals Prediction

Game 6 is on tap for the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals, and if I were you I’d bet on the Penguins stopping the Red Wings from lifting Lord Stanley’s Cup tonight in Pittsburgh…

Stanley Cup Final – Detroit Red Wings @ Pittsburgh Penguins

Game 6 – Tuesday, June 9 @ 8:00 p.m. ET

Stanley Cup betting lines: Red Wings +110, Penguins -130

Whoa, daddy. The Pens were the sports wagering underdogs in Game 5, but few NHL betting fans saw the 5-0 massacre coming.CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR TOP NHL CAPPERS —–>

Pittsburgh got down early and the discipline went out the window; the dumb penalties piled up, even from Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, and the Wings’ dynamite power play erupted for four goals. Pavel Datsyuk returned from injury and made an immediate impact, setting up two goals and taking the defensive pressure off Henrik Zetterberg.

It’s still too early to give up on the Pens. As ugly as they’ve been as sportsbook picks on the road, seemingly wilting against hostile crowds, they still instill confidence at home. They seem to be more physical and defensively conscientious at Mellon Arena, so Stanley Cup betting fans should expect an improved effort in Game 6. Marc-Andre Fleury should bounce back too; he’s had few problems at home and the goals weren’t his fault in Game 5.

The Pens should take Game 6 and force an epic deciding contest, but they better stay out of the box. Their lack of maturity Saturday was inexcusable and Detroit will have its parade soon if the Pens don’t smarten up.

Sports book pick: Penguins -130

I would love to see detroit give them one more lesson at home and take the cup.The pens showed there true colors during game six, they have no respect for the game the fans the refs our there coach, after all the support the NHL has put into SQUID and Malkin to behave like that during a stanley cup game should never be forgiven as a captian and the face of hockey Sid owes all of hockey an apology for his and his teamates behavior they spit on the game. if my chold acted like that during a game i would make him sit out for a few games and ground him for at least a week hes 8 by the way and has more class, and respects the game more then half the pens what a sad day for hockey
