The Hawks have gone just 5-5 in their last 10 games to fall to ninth in the overall standings. A date with the Coyotes may be just what they need – the Coyotes are just 3-6-1 in their last 10 games overall.
The Blackhawks are 4-1-1 against the Coyotes in their past six games.

The Arizona Coyotes are struggling leaving the possibility that the core of this team could be blown up before this year`s trade deadline. The Coyotes have garnered just one point in their last four games – that coming last time out in a shootout loss to the Jets on Sunday.
The problem has been and continues to be in the defensive end – they are allowing an awful 3.27 goals per game this year – goaltender Mile Smith is 7-19-3 with a 3.43 GAA and .887 save percentage so far this season – yuk! He did shut out the Hawks in the only meeting this year but is 1-1-1 versus Chicago in three career starts with a 2.61 GAA.

To make matters worse for Arizona is their recent road record – they have lost three straight away from home and six of their last seven. Offensively the Coyotes looked OK last time out scoring three times but there aren`t a whole lot of Coyotes that enter this game Hot – Shane Doan has six points in his last four games and Keith Yandle has three points in three games – that`s it. Defenseman Zbynek Michalek and forward Mikkel Boedker will likely be out Tuesday – ungood if you are a Coyotes fan.
The Chicago Blackhawks will look to avoid their first three game losing streak this season on Tuesday. The Blackhawks have lost three of their past four games, allowing a combined 16 goals, and hold a 5-6-0 record since Dec. 23. They’ve allowed 27 non-shootout goals in going 3-5-0 in 2015.
Chicago will turn to Antti Raanta between the pipes to stop the bleeding – he is 6-3-0 on the year with a 1.96 GAA and .934 save percentage this year but makes his first start since a 5-2 loss at Edmonton January 9.
We can expect Chicago to score some goals against the Coyotes – the team is averaging 2.98 goals this year – goal scoring hasn`t been the problem lately! Brandon Saad has six points in his last four games, Patrick Kane has 19 points in his last 14 games, Marian Hossa has five points in four games and Brian Bickell has five points in his last five games.

Chicago will need more from their stars however – Jonathan Toews hasn`t scored in 11 games, Patrick Sharp has just one point in his last four games and Duncan Keith is pointless in his last six games overall. These slumps won`t continue – the Coyotes could be the cure to what`s ailed these players lately.
