The Bills are coming off a week where they upset the NY Jets 16-13 with a solid defensive performance including intercepting rookie QB Mark Sanchez 5 times to win in overtime. 
The other story was Ryan Fitzpatrick stepping in ably for an injured Trent Edwards, who left early in the second quarter with a concussion. Fitzpatrick connected with WR Lee Evans on multiple occasions including a TD. Lee Evans has mostly been invisible all season but with Fitzpatrick under center hopefully they can build a connection.
“It was really an outstanding job,” Coach Dick Jauron said. “I like him because he can throw it, he can direct it and hopefully he can get us another win.”
The Bills have proved they can move the ball on the ground (they rank 11th in rushing yards) but as odd as this sounds they haven’t been able to score a rushing TD yet this season.
For Carolina, their strength is based on a solid running game with two of the best RBs in the game. Between DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, the Panthers ran the ball 48 times recording 267 yards in the victory 28-21 over Tampa Bay last week.
Carolina’s rushing attack has a huge edge against Buffalo as the Bills have the worst rush defense in the entire league.
It’s better for the Panthers to stay on the ground because the Bills own the 4th best defense against the pass. Plus Jake Delhomme has been an interception machine since late last season.

Carolina can atually get back to .500 with a win today after a dreadful 0-3 start. This will be a boring, low scoring game that sets up well for playing the UNDER. Look for Carolina to get the win, but the score should stay close.
