Week 4 Giants vs. Chiefs NFL Predictions

The New York Giants and the Kansas City Chiefs will both be gunning for a victory on Sunday when they meet at Arrowhead Stadium. We preview and pick this week 4 game that has the Giants picked to win by 9.5…

NFL Betting Preview – Giants to Dismantle Chiefs

Something has to be said for the coaching staff in New York. The talent is certainly above average, but the coaching staff has been able to dissect teams with disgusting precision. While going 16-2 ATS in their last 18 games on the road, the Giants have kicked off the season by wearing down the Redskins, picking Tony Romo three times in a 33-31 win, and shutout the Bucs who were previously the fourth best offense in terms of moving the chains. That’s why I’m not scared of a big spread facing them on the road in Arrowhead.

Kansas City is getting impatient with Matt Cassel. He answered a challenge from ownership by throwing for just 90-yards, and the Chiefs fell once again dropping them to 0-5 ATS/SU in their past 5 games. Arrowhead is supposed to be one of those feared meccas for home-field advantage, but it hasn’t done much for the Chiefs. They’re winless, aside from one win against the spread, in their last five at home too.

The Chiefs have given up 243.0 yards through the air and 119.3 yards on the ground, and their linebackers are simply not strong enough to contain Brandon Jacobs. That means it’s going to be a long day for the Chiefs’ young defense, which is about to get man handled by one of the best offensive lines in the business.

New York Giants (3-0) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (0-3)
Sunday, October 4th — Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City — 1:00pm EST
NFL Betting Line: NYG -8.5 (42)

The Giants proved against Tampa that they aren’t going to take games against crappy teams lightly. They shut out Tampa Bay and ran the ball down their throats. Expect Eli to score early and get out to an early lead, that will be soundly protected by Brandon Jacobs, who is spearheading a three-headed monster on the ground that averaged 142.0 yards on the ground for the Football Giants.

Matt Cassell may be a talented quarterback, but trading Tony Gonzalez to Atlanta for a 2010 draft pick is giving him zero weapons to work with. Dwayne Bowe is still one year away from becoming a premier receiver, and there’s literally nobody behind him on the depth chart. I mean there is, but I haven’t heard of these guys.

Bet safely on the Giants, and feel free to parlay these guys with another bet. This is perhaps the safest bet in the bunch.
