NFL Sunday Re-cap: Banner Thanksgiving Day Weekend for the NFC East and NFC South

It was an unforgettable Thanksgiving Day Weekend for the NFC East and the NFC South. Sports betting fans couldn’t have helped but be amazed at how terrific almost every single team from both the NFC East and the NFC South played in Week Thirteen of this NFL Season.

Save for the New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins, every other team in both the NFC East and NFC South won. It was a serious signal to the rest of the NFL that BetUS Sportsbook NFL betting profits can be found by making online bets on teams in both divisions.

Let’s get to the re-cap!

New York Giants vs. Washington Redskins – – The BetUS online sportsbook betting line settled around 4 points in favor of the Giants. I don’t know why I doubted the G-Men in this game. The Redskins kept pace in the first half but then the Giants did what they always do, dominate in the second half. The Giants ended up covering the spread easily by winning 23 to 7. The Giants could go 15 and 1 during the regular season. Is there a team that can challenge these guys? It doesn’t look like it so far this season and there is only a month left.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys – – The Cowboys were playing a severely depleted Seattle team, but they were marvelous in crushing the BetUS online betting spread by destroying the Seahawks 34 to 9. Dallas is firmly back in the Super Bowl picture. They don’t have the defense or running game that the Giants have, but they have started to become a good online bet in a lot of games. That’s a good thing for NFL betting fans.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Eagles – – The Eagles started Donovan McNabb and he responded with a fantastic 260 yard 4 touchdown game. Bryan Westbrook added four touchdowns, two from passes by Donovan, and the Eagles cruised to a 48 to 20 victory over the NFC West leading Cardinals. The Eagles defense played very well holding the Cardinals to only 20 points. Philadelphia looked to have turned things around in this game. That’s good news for online football betting fans. Lately, Philly has been awful. The thrashing of the Cardinals could be a sign that the Eagles are here to stay.

New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – – It was touch and go for a while there, but the Bucs pulled off a 23 to 20 victory. The BetUS online wagering spread was 4 points in favor of the Bucs. So the Saints lost the game outright but beat the BetUS online betting spread. For the Bucs, the victory keeps them atop the NFC South Division. They play the Carolina Panthers this coming Sunday.

Carolina Panthers vs. Green Bay Packers – – Speaking of Carolina, they were behind in Green Bay but found a way to claw their way to a victory. Online betting fans have to start taking this team seriously with a month left in the NFL Regular Season. The Panthers have been fantastic against the online betting spread. They proved it again against the Packers in a game Green Bay had to win. The Panthers are for real.

Atlanta Falcons vs. San Diego Chargers – – The Chargers are an awful team but the Falcons with rookie Matt Ryan at quarterback shouldn’t have done what they did to San Diego on Sunday. The spread was around 3 points in favor of the Chargers. Not only did the Falcons beat the online wagering spread, but they won the game straight-up by a score of 22 to 16. Atlanta is a serious contender in the NFC South. The Chargers? They need to find a new coach.

Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets – – Nobody expected the Broncos to go into New York and dominate the Jets the way they did on Sunday. The Broncos are now firmly in control of the AFC West Division. The online betting spread was 7 ½ or so in favor of the Jets. The Broncos just dominated the Jets 34 to 17, beat the online wagering spread and made any NFL betting fans that were brave enough to bet them on the money line very happy.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots – – The Steelers were 1 point underdogs in this game but you wouldn’t have known it by the way that Big Ben, Hines Ward, and the rest of the Steelers offense ran all over the Patriots’ D. The Patriots’ offense was terrible. Matt Cassel, fresh off of two straight 400 yard games, was horrid. The Steelers easily beat the BetUS online sportsbook wagering spread by thumping the Patriots 33 to 10. Pittsburgh is obviously one of the top three threats, along with the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts, to represent the AFC Conference in the Super Bowl.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Cleveland Browns – – The Colts won their game versus the Browns, as 5 ½ point online betting favorites, with defense. They didn’t cover the spread by winning 10 to 6 but they proved, like the Colts often do, that they will hang around by any means necessary. The Colts are now 8 and 4 straight-up. That makes them one of the better online football betting options in the league right now.

San Francisco 49’ers vs. Buffalo Bills – – The Buffalo Bills continue their downward slide after starting out the season like gangbusters. They were beat by the woeful San Francisco 49’ers 10 to 3 on Sunday. Since the Bills were against the spread favorites, losing straight-up to the 49’ers is a big issue. The Bills won’t make the playoffs this season and Coach Dick Jauron is in danger of losing his job.

Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings – – In the Sunday Night Cap the Bears and Vikings took the field against each other for what seemed like the millionth time. The Bears played well early, but the Vikings were better covering against the BetUS online betting spread of 2 ½ points by winning the game straight-up by a score of 34 to 14. The Vikings are clearly the best team in the NFC North Division and a solid online bet for online wagering fans every time they hit the gridiron. Watch out for the Vikings in the NFC Playoffs.
