Here’s a look at five favorites and five underdogs worthy of a closer gambling eye in Week 10.

NFL Gambling – Week 10 Favorites

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals
Week 10 NFL Spread: Bengals -6.5

The Cleveland Browns have been sneaky good this season, but they’ll be in over their heads on Thursday night when they visit a Cincinnati Bengals team that, for all its faults, has done a fantastic job of defending its home field in recent seasons.

Miami Dolphins at Detroit Lions
Week 10 NFL Spread: Lions -2.5

The Lions have almost reinvented themselves as a team that wins with defense, as Detroit’s front four has really stepped up its game and been a nightmare on opposing offenses. After using the bye to get healthy on offense, they should be a nightmare for the Dolphins.

Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills
Week 10 NFL Spread: Chiefs -1.5

The Chiefs have been a sneaky good team since their bye week. Going to Buffalo has been harder to do this year than it has in the past, but the Chiefs have the weapons to exploit the Bills’ defense, and an immobile Kyle Orton will be a sitting duck against this Chiefs pass rush.

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 10 NFL Spread: Buccaneers -1.5

These teams were both expected to contend for the NFC South title this season, but both sides have instead been major disappointments, and are closer to the top overall pick in the next draft than they are to the top spot in the overall standings. The Buccaneers have the better talent and that should win out. That, coupled with the added motivation of having been blown out by the Falcons the last time the team’s met.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears
Week 10 NFL Spread: Packers -7

[dfads params=’groups=66501&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]

The Packers went into the break with some question marks surrounding their offense, and while Aaron Rodgers’ balky hamstring looks to be fine, the Bears didn’t answer any of the questions surrounding their team while they were off.

NFL Gambling – Week 10 Underdogs

San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints
Week 10 NFL Spread: 49ers +5

The 49ers went into New Orleans and lost by a field goal the last time these teams met. The Saints have been playing strong football this season, and while the 49ers have taken a step back, they’ll be extra-motivated coming off a loss in which they feel they were cheated.

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
Week 10 NFL Spread: Titans +10

There’s not a lot to like about the current make up of the Titans. There just isn’t a lot of talent on the roster for whatever reason. With that said, the Ravens have been hit or miss all season, and this doesn’t look like a spot where they’ll be able to build up a significant margin.

Pittsburgh Steelers at New York Jets
Week 10 NFL Spread: Jets +5

The Steelers have been on a roll and now get set to face a beat up Jets secondary that hasn’t been able to stop even the weakest of passing offenses. And yet the spread in this game is under a touchdown. That’s the oddsmakers trying to tell us something.

Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders
Week 10 NFL Spread: Raiders +11.5

This is another one where it feels like the oddsmakers are trying to tell us something. The Broncos figure to go to Oakland looking to beat the tar out of the Raiders after their loss in New England. The Raiders have been able to keep games close of late and have back door cover potential should it come down to it.

Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles
Week 10 NFL Spread: Panthers +6

The Panthers have been very inconsistent this season. Coming off back-to-back bad performances, this looks to be a good bounce back spot. As good as Mark Sanchez looked at times last week, he still gave the ball away twice.
