Washington vs Cleveland Betting!

The Redskins have won 4 straight to get back in the playoff picture, but will Robert Griffin III be available for this game. He took a hard hit in the Skins last win and while his injury looked pretty bad he feels better and may be able to play in this game.

Washington Redskins vs. Cleveland Browns Preview

If he cannot go Kirk Cousins, who played well when coming in for RG3 last week, will get the starting nod. The Browns are out of the playoff race, but they have won 3 straight. NFL lines have the Redskins as 1-point road favorites with a total of 43.5.

In their last games the Redskins beat the Baltimore Ravens 31-28 in OT and the Browns beat the Kansas City Chiefs 30-7.

On the season the Redskins are 8-5 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 7-6 and the Browns are 8-4-1 ATS and they have an Over/Under record of 4-9.

RG3 is the top rated passer in the league and the Skins hope he can go. Pierre Garcon leads the Washington WR corps and he has played great since coming back from his injury. The Browns pass defense only ranks 21st in the league and in their 3 game winning streak they only played 1 team with a solid aerial attack in the Raiders and they gave up a ton of yards in the air in that game.

The Redskins are the top-ranked rushing team in the NFL and rookie RB Robert Morris has the 3rd most rushing yards in the league. He rushed for over 100 yards last week for the 3rd straight week and while the Browns only gave up 7 points last week their 17th ranked run defense allowed the Chiefs to rack up 180 rushing yards.[soliloquy id=”82219″]

Brandon Weeden passed for 217 yards in the win over Kansas City and while he does not have a great WR corps and while the Browns are winning he has 3 INT and 2 TD in his last 3 games. The Redskins’ pass defense only ranks 31st in the league, but their pass rush has been playing well.

Trent Richardson broke the rookie RB TD record for the Browns last week, but he has failed to average over 4 yards per carry in his last 4 games. The Redskins have a solid run defense ranking 7th in the league, but in the Ravens win they allowed Ray Rice to rush for over 100 yards.

In some betting trends for this non-conference game the Redskins are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games, 10-26-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record, and they have an Under record of 5-2 in their last 7 games.

The Browns are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games, 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, and they have an Under record of 10-2 in their last 12 home games.

Jason’s Pick: Even if RG3 cannot play Cousins is a solid backup and Washington will ride Morris, who will rush for over 100 yards again. This game will be close, but the Skins will win.
