This game shouldn`t be question of whether or not the Seahawks will win but more of a question of how much they will win by.

The Minnesota Vikings are coming off a rare win at home but now have the unenviable task to travelling to the Pacific Northwest to take on not only one of the most complete teams in the NFL today but also a rabid crowd that has made it absolutely miserable for the Seahawks opposition.

Christian Ponder who was hurt last week should get the start Sunday – not exactly confidence inspiring. But he is markedly better than Matt Cassel and Josh Freeman – both of whom had a chance to seize control of the starting gig in Minnesota.

Ponder has thrown for 1246 yards, five TDs and 7 picks – AND HE IS THE BEST OF THE BUNCH!!!

Poor Adrian Peterson – he constantly faces teams that stack the box and dare the Minnesota QBs to throw the ball. How`s that workin` out? Peterson has 786 yards and 9 TDs on the season and appears as though he is the only real threat of offense that Minnesota has – his two TDs last week are further proof.

As bad as the passing game has been in Minnesota, the defense has been worse. Minnesota owns the third worst total defense in the game and the fourth worst passing defense in the league allowing 285 yards through the air per game. This team can`t stop anybody right now – the Hawks have to be licking their chops!

The Seattle Seahawks keep getting it done – 12 straight home wins and a 5-1 road record this season. And this team is about to get better! Percy Harvin is supposed to suit up this week for the first time and if not this week, after their bye Russell Okung and Max Unger should return to solidify an O-line that has had its issues the past couple of games.

The Hawks offense has proven they can beat you with the run and with the pass – Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch have really elevated their games so far this year.

And then there`s Seattle`s defense! They are third in total yards allowed and second in passing yards allowed while giving up the third-least amount of points per game. At home those numbers are even better.

The Hawks have been a tad vulnerable against the run but knowing that Adrian Peterson is coming and is the only real threat against them?

Look for the playmakers on this team to adjust.

NFL Football Betting Prediction

A few trends to consider:

• Over is 7-2 in MIN last 9 games overall.
• Over is 9-3 in MIN last 12 games on fieldturf.
• SEA are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 vs. NFC.
• SEA are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games in Week 11.
• Over is 13-5 in SEA last 18 games in November.

The Seattle Seahawks are on a tear and on home turf they are virtually unbeatable. This game could get ugly early and once out of hand, Minnesota will likely be forced to abandon the run – the only real proven weapon in their arsenal. Because of that, look for Seattle to run wild in this game and to do whatever they want offensively.

Seattle will try to put the game in Christian Ponder`s hands and we all know what happens when that is the case!

Pick: Seattle Seahawks -13 1/2
