Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys Free Gambling Prediction & Week 12 Preview

Redskins vs Cowboys NFL Football Spread/Handicapping

The story coming into the Redskins game last Sunday against the Eagles was the demise of Philadelphia and QB Michael Vick. They were being forced to start a rookie QB but as Washington fans know that isn’t always such a bad idea.

Washington

Washington smoked the visiting Eagles as rookie QB Robert Griffin had one of the most efficient games ever.

Hopefully they bottled some of that for Thanksgiving at NFC East rival Dallas.

Against Philadelphia Griffin was amazing 14 for 15 throwing for an even 200 yards with 4 touchdowns.  He also led the team in rushing, ripping off 84 yards on the ground.  I know Matt Schaub threw for 500+ yards last week but this was more impressive to me.  Defensively the Skins were able to make fellow rookie QB Nick Foles uncomfortable, picking him off twice and sacking him 4 times.

The Skins outscored Philly 31-6 despite having the ball for three few minutes.

They were on from start to finish.

This is a classic game where that extra half point may make all the difference.  Washington should be feeling good heading into this one but I am not sure they are going to buzz into Dallas and score the upset.  It totally feels like a field goal game so as long as you can get the extra half on the Redskins side than you should take it. Dallas

I can only imagine the mood in Dallas if last week’s game against Cleveland had finished differently.  As luck would have it the Cowboys fought back from a 17-3 deficit in the 4th quarter to force overtime and ultimately beat the Browns.  Now they have a little momentum heading into the annual Thanksgiving game.  This team is still a conundrum but a little heat was taken off with the victory.

The real question is how do you get down like that against a team like Cleveland…at home no less.  Dallas will have to tighten up the offensive line play this week.  The Browns sacked Tony Romo 7 times and the O-Line only paved the way for just 64 rushing yards total.  Dez Bryant had a monster of a game with 15 catches for 145 yards.  He is quickly developing a reliability to go with his talent.

You never know what to make of the ‘dem Cowboys.  At 5-5 they are still in the hunt in the NFC but given what we have seen thus far it is hard to imagine they will really make a push.

Getting back to the number you should know that Dallas is 0-4 against the spread at home this season.  Thanksgiving presents a new kind of animal, more pressure for a team that may not respond to it.
