Season Win Totals NFL Predictions – Arizona Cardinals 2015 Lines

Cardinals Over Under Wins Betting Odds

The Arizona Cardinals were arguably the most surprising teams in the NFL the last couple – 11 wins last year with a revolving-door quarterback situation was impressive indeed. Carson Palmer is back healthy, the receiving corp. is again, one of the more underrated units in the game and the defense should be fine once again.

Cardinals Season Win Totals

Cardinals Over Under Lines
2014 Record: 11-5
2015 O/U Win Total Line: 8.5

But the questions remain -will the loss on stud defensive coordinator Todd Bowles be too much for this team to overcome? Will the departures of Antonio Cromartie and Darnell Dockett create holes that are just too tough to fill? Can the Cardinals duplicate a 9-1 start from last year? Will they be able to stay healthy throughout the season?

Vegas has set Arizona’s win total at 8.5 – not a whole lotta love for a team that keeps finding ways to get it done!

You have to think that a step back is imminent for the Arizona Cardinals although two straight winning seasons under the leadership of Bruce Arians gives this team instant credibility. They are a tough team in the desert -no fun to play against at all.

The Cardinals start their season with three very winnable games – home against New Orleans, on the road at Chicago and home against the 49ers in Week 3. By my count the Cardinals should be 3-0 to start the year. A home date against the Rams follows as does a road game in Detroit in Week 5.

Believe it or not, Arizona could start 5-0 and all of the talk of their 9-1 start the year before will be real.

But after Week 5 the schedule gets a lot tougher for the Cards – on the road in Pittsburgh in Week 6 and a Monday Nighter against Baltimore follow. By this time Arizona will be due for a hiccup – these two games are it. Have no fear, Cleveland awaits in Week 8 before their bye in Week 9.

The Cardinals should go into their rest-week at 6-2.

Arizona heads to Seattle in Week 10 – hard to imagine a win there. They return home to play Cincinnati in Week 11 – a game that they should win. Next comes two divisional road games – at San Fran and St. Louis – they should win one of those games.

The Cards host Minnesota off a short week December 10 and travel to Philadelphia in Week 15. My guess is that Arizona is 9-4 after Week 15. Their last two Regular Season games are at home – versus Green Bay and Seattle – two teams that will likely be battling it out for home field advantage in the playoffs. Don’t expect Arizona to catch a break as both teams will be out for the win to cement their position.

Prediction:

The Arizona Cardinals look as though they are on a crash course for a 9-7 season – Over the 8.5 wins that Vegas has predicted but below the enormous expectations that this team has. The Cards have overachieved the last two years – nobody will take them lightly. A small step backward is coming folk but not 9 wins still eclipses the 8.5 wins Vegas has set out.
