Early NFL Odds For Week 7

If NFL betting trends are going to continue this week bettors need to pay close attention to the NFL betting odds. We preview the early Week 7 nfl lines.

NFL Week 7 Betting – Early Lines

Underdogs continued to clean up for bettors last week in the NFL, as the favorites bombed again with a 6-7 ATS record. If those NFL betting trends are going to continue this week bettors need to pay close attention to the NFL betting odds.

When the early NFL odds for Week 7 arrived the biggest spread was set in the Dallas/St. Louis game. Even though the Cowboys were upset by Arizona last week, and the Rams finally put their first W on the board, St. Louis was still an 11-point underdog. The Rams covered as an 11.5-point ‘dog against Washington last week so who’s to say they can’t do it again against a Cowboys team that can’t seem to get it together on defense and will be without Tony Romo because of a busted finger.

If you prefer to bet on small spreads on the NFL odds you’ve got plenty of games to choose from in Week 7. A number of games opened with a spread of three or less, some of which include San Diego at Buffalo, Baltimore at Miami, and Indianapolis at Green Bay.

The Chargers finally got some payback on the Patriots with a dominating win last week, but they’re only a 1-point favorite on the NFL odds against the Bills this week. The Dolphins and Ravens both lost last week, but in very different ways. Baltimore was blasted by the Colts 31-3, while Miami barely lost to Houston 29-28. In their Week 7 matchup the Dolphins are only a 2.5-point favorite. The Colts, who finally got their offense in gear last week against Baltimore, hit the road this weekend and head to Green Bay. The Packers got back on the winning track last week against Seattle, but they’re still a 1.5-point underdog against the Colts.

Rounding out the list of games bettors should keep an eye on this week is Tennessee at Kansas City. The Titans were off last week, and they could probably rest half their lineup again this week against the awful Chiefs. One thing to remember about this game, though, is that it’s being played in Kansas City, where the Chiefs always play better. Their only win of the season came at Arrowhead against Denver. The Titans are a 7-point favorite this week, but don’t be surprised if the line moves before kickoff on Sunday.
