NFL Week 12 Betting – Early Lines Look
The favorites finally topped the underdogs in Week 11 of the National Football League season, but don’t get too excited because it was only by a single game. Heading into Week 12 of the BetUS Sportsbook NFL sports betting schedule the favorites are still looking for their first big winning week of the season versus the line.
The biggest spread when the NFL odds for Week 12 arrived was found in the Cincinnati/Pittsburgh game, which is this week’s marquee Thursday night matchup. Both the Bengals and the Steelers played in strange games last week, as Cincinnati posted a rare tie against Philadelphia, while Pittsburgh picked up the first-ever 11-10 win in NFL history over San Diego. The Steelers already handled the Bengals once this season with a 38-10 victory back in Week 7. In the rematch the Steelers are pegged as a 10-point home favorite.
Another big spread can be found in the Oakland/Denver matchup. The Broncos beat up on Oakland 41-14 way back in Week 1, and this weekend they’re a 9.5-point home favorite on the NFL odds. If Denver can get their offense going they shouldn’t have a problem covering that big spread, considering the Raiders haven’t been able to score an offensive touchdown since Week 8.
Before the season began if someone asked you pick the game of the week for Week 12 most people likely would have chosen the Indianapolis at San Diego matchup. The Colts and Chargers used to be locks to win their respective divisions, but this season they’re both behind and fighting for a playoff spot. The Colts appear to be on the right track after winning their last three games, but San Diego is still struggling and have lost three of their last four games to sit at 4-6. Three of the Chargers’ wins have come at home this season, and they’re a 2.5-point home favorite this weekend against the Colts.
