Early NFL Odds For Week 10

If NFL betting trends are going to continue this week bettors need to pay close attention to the NFL betting odds. We preview the early Week 10 nfl lines.

NFL Football Betting Early Lines for Week 10

Week 9 in the NFL saw another round of upsets by underdogs, as the favorites tanked again against-the-spread. The NFL betting slate for Week 10 includes a number of big spreads, so another week of upsets could be in order.

The largest spread available to bettors when the Week 10 lines first appeared was in the Kansas City/San Diego matchup. Despite the Chargers’ lackluster 3-5 record and three losses in their last four games they are still a 13.5-point favorite on the NFL odds versus the Chiefs. Kansas City has lost their last four games, but they covered the spread in their last two losses. Bettors should remember that the Chargers were a 12.5-point favorite against the Chiefs last season when Kansas City came into San Diego and shocked the Chargers 30-16.

The double-digit spreads on the NFL odds don’t end with the Chiefs and Chargers. There is also a big line available to online bettors in this week’s Monday nighter, the 49ers at the Cardinals. San Francisco comes out of their bye week a complete mess having lost their last five games. The Cardinals are the only team in the NFC West with a winning record after ripping the Rams 34-13 last week. Arizona is an 11-point favorite against the 49ers, and the Cards’ offense (which is No. 1 in the league) could put up a ton of points against the lame San Francisco defense.

If you’re more interested in small spreads you can’t get much smaller than this week’s New Orleans at Atlanta contest. When this game first hit the NFL odds it was listed as a pick’em, but the current odds have the Falcons listed as a 1-point home favorite. The Saints recorded their first win of the season outside of New Orleans two weeks ago by toppling San Diego in London. The Saints will be in tough against the Falcons, who have been a pleasant surprise this season at 5-3, which includes going undefeated at home.
