NFL Game Previews – Eagles vs Dolphins
The Philadelphia Eagles will try and snap a two-game skid when they travel to Sun Life Stadium this Sunday afternoon to take on the Miami Dolphins, who have won have won four of their last five games.

The kick-off is slated for 1 p.m. and the game will be broadcast regionally on FOX.
In a season of very few ups and far too many downs, Philadelphia drags itself into this game at 4-8 both straight-up and against the spread. Its latest setback was an embarrassing 31-14 loss to Seattle last Thursday night as a three-point road favorite. The total has gone ‘over’ in seven of its 12 games this year.
The one bright spot for this game is the return of Michael Vick, who missed the last three games with broken ribs. It remains questionable as to whether or not one of his favorite receivers, Jeremy Maclin will join him in the starting lineup, as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
Miami started the season 0-7, but has turned things around over the past five weeks with an offense that is suddenly averaging 27.8 points a game and a defense that is holding its opponents to just 10.8 points a game. [soliloquy id=”82219″]
The Dolphins are now 4-8 SU, but a profitable 6-5-1 ATS. The total has stayed ‘under’ in nine of their 12 games overall. Last week they knocked-off Oakland 34-14 as 3.5-point home underdogs and the total actually went ‘over’ the 43-point line.
Philadelphia is 2-7 ATS in its last nine games following a SU loss and 1-4 ATS in its last five games overall. The total has gone ‘over’ in 10 of its last 12 games on the road.
Miami is 5-0 ATS in its last five games following an ATS win and 6-0 ATS in its last six games overall. The total has stayed ‘under’ in three of its last five home games.
The Dolphins are 2-3-1 ATS at home this season, while the Eagles are 4-2 ATS in six games on the road. You know that Miami is playing hard for its head coach’s job, but with Vick back under center, stick with Philly to show that it can still play hard for its head coach as well.
