Week 1 NFLX Handicapping Tips

The NFL preseason has begun baby and I do not know about you, but I am so fired up to see football I was glued to the TV yesterday for preseason games!

Here are the remaining games for this weekend and their lines.

Packers -1.5 @ Browns

The Packers are the defending champs, but have not looked good in practice so far. Is Colt McCoy the answer at QB for the Browns? He will have his time to shine in the preseason to solidify his starting job, but facing a Green Bay defense will not be easy in this game.

Week 1 Preseason Football Lines

Giants @ Panthers -1.5

How much will Cam Newton play in this game? All eyes will be on the #1 pick in the draft, but he may be thrown into the fire facing a solid Giants’ defense.

Bills @ Bears -3

We may see early in the preseason if the Bills made a mistake by not taking a QB with their 3rd pick in the draft. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Colts @ Rams -7

Peyton Manning will not play in this game, but Sam Bradford will, which is why the Rams are favored by a TD.

Vikings @ Titans -3

McNabb? Ponder? Who will start at QB for the Vikings? The same thing can be said for the Titans, who will play both newcomer Matt Hasselbeck and 1st round draft pick Jake Locker.

Jets @ Texans -2.5

The Jets have the defense and the Texans have the offense. However, while the Jets can score and have a few new solid WR’s the big issue in the Lone Star State for Houston is, can they defend the pass?
