The Bills fired their offensive coordinator, Turk Schonert, just 10 days before the start of the season and there has been some internal squabbling as to whether that has been the right decision.

Regardless of that move, the Bills have been an absolute wreck in the preseason and an offense that was supposed to be explosive now that Terrell Owens is on the roster has been absolutely abysmal. Compounding the issues is that the Bills cut their starting left tackle just days before the start of the season as well, which means virtually their entire offensive line will now be revamped from last year.
Oh yeah, they are heading into Gilette Stadium to face the team that opens the season as the Super Bowl favorites. On top of that, the New England Patriots will be welcoming back Tom Brady into the lineup after a season-ending injury took him out of play last year.
While the Patriots will probably score at will, there is a very good reason to take them minus the points: the Bills no-huddle offense.
The Bills are employing a new no-huddle offense, which they hope will catch their opponents off-guard. The only problem is that if it doesn’t, it is going to leave their defense exposed. A few members from their defensive unit have already complained that they might be on the field more often than they would like and against Bill Belichick, who has had all summer to prepare for the Bills, you can expect it to be rendered useless.
Patriots will roll in the opener as they send they punish the Bills.
