Onto the 2010 Kickers – (K) Rankings –

GARRETT LINDHOLM, Tarleton State

This little-known small school prospect has a monster leg. He hit a 64-yard field goal this season and hit an incredible 3-of-4 attempts from beyond 60 yards at his Pro Day. At 5”8, 185 lbs, he’s a mite compared to Sebastien Janikowski, but he has a similar nuclear warhead for a leg. He could go as early as the fourth round, believe it.

LEIGH TIFFIN, Alabama

Tiffin comes from a good ole’ pedigree of Dixie kickers; his Dad also kicked for the Tide in the 1980s. He hit clutch kicks this season and was 6-of-8 from 40+ yards. Expect him snapped up in the fifth or sixth round.

MATT DODGE, East Carolina

Dodge is a punter adept not only at booming the ball, but placing it inside the 20. He slammed the ball for an impressive 45.8 yard average in 2009. He could also go in the fifth or sixth.

BRETT SWENSON, Michigan State

This Spartan had an excellent 2009, going 19-of-22 and 5-of-7 from the all-important 40+ mark. He’s little, but he can still thump the ball and should go in the sixth round.

ZOLTAN MESKO, Michigan

The “Leader of the Evil Empire,” as he’s been lovingly called by Wolverine commentators, has had a distinguished career punting the football for the Maize and Blue. Lord knows, with Michigan’s recent crappiness he’s had sufficient practice. He will go in the sixth or seventh round.

Honorable Mention: Aaron Pettrey, Ohio State Pettrey has decent size for a kicker at 6”1, 205 lbs and is also quite accurate.
