I hope that Chris Johnson is eating a lot of pasta this week. He is going to require the carbs – NO TURKEY FOR YOU! The Tennessee Titans will be without Vince Young for the rest of the season and Kerry Collins is injured as well. Enter 6th Round Draft Choice Rusty Smith. I know, it is pretty difficult to imagine!
Suffice to say that the Tennessee Titans will not be doing a whole lot of passing in Week 12, not that they would have anyway with one of their regular quarterbacks! The Titans have the 31st ranked passing game (184 yards per game) – a number that is sure to go down with Rusty at the helm.
By the way, is there an over/under on how long it is that Randy Moss throws somebody under the bus? Literally? 
Expect to see a ton of Chris Johnson on Sunday as always. He and the 8th ranked running game (127 yards per game) are all that the Titans have!
Defensively, the Titans are going to have to take their game to a different level. They have been vulnerable against the pass all season long – are you listening Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson? They have the 11th ranked run defense but Arian Foster is on a different planet right now when it comes to production. I feel sorry for the Tennessee defense that will be on the field for most of the game on Sunday.
The Houston Texans were licking their wounds but now they have to be licking their chops! Nothing masks a pathetic defense like a green quarterback. The Texans have been torched by the pass (32nd ranked – 301 yards allowed per game) this season. At least they won’t be on Sunday! They have been fairly good against the run and will need to be against arguably the most dynamic back in the NFL. Expect a lot of eight man fronts to help stop Chris Johnson.
Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson and Arian Foster are all prime for an enormous day on Sunday. There should be plenty of scoring to go around. If you are a Texans fan, it should be a fun game, one that may allow you to forget the last couple of weeks!
Betting Prediction:
The Tennessee Titans are 4-2 SU in their last six games on the road and are 8-2 SU in their last 10 meetings with the Texans. Tennessee is 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five trips to Houston.
The Houston Texans are 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games and are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. The Texans are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against the Titans.
Everyone has seen what can happen to an OK team when an untested quarterback takes the reigns – the Carolina Panthers have become one of the worst teams in the NFL. Expect a similar outcome for the Tennessee Titans. Until Kerry Collins comes back from injury, the Titans offense is simply not competitive. The Texans will roll and beat up on the poor Titans.
