Arizona Cardinals (6.5) – Too many things have to go right in the dessert to cover 6.5. Cardinals will go to Fitzgerald too much in an attempt fatten Fitz’s stats and entice him to stay beyond this season. UNDER

Atlanta Falcons (10.5) – Falcons are 33-15 since Matt Ryan took over at quarterback. They should get to 11 wins in the mediocre NFC South. OVER.

Baltimore Ravens (10.5) – Ravens have made a concerted effort to get younger. Doesn’t hurt when four games are against the NFC West. OVER

Over-Under Win Totals 2011 Predictions

Buffalo Bills (5.5) – Bills are stuck in Mediocre Hell, seemingly doomed to play everyone tough but not talented enough to contend. Somehow they win 6 or 7. OVER.

Carolina Panthers (4.5) – Too many patches needed and not enough time to get it done in a shortened off-season. Newton struggles. UNDER

Chicago Bears (8.5) – Cameras will be focused on Jay Cutler’s face when Roy Williams drops his first pass wide open in the end zone. OVER

Cincinnati Bengals (5.5) – The NFL is a dark and lonely place for teams without half-decent quarterbacks. UNDER

Cleveland Browns (6.5) – Wondering when, if ever, it will happen for this team. Hard to get to even 8-8 with Baltimore and Pittsburgh in the division. UNDER

Dallas Cowboys (9) – Trips to New England and New York (Jets) don’t make things any easier. But they have to finish about .500, don’t they? Books have it exactly right – 9-7. PUSH

Denver Broncos (5.5) – Tebow was not the answer last year, isn’t the answer this year and won’t be the answer next year. But they’ll win 6 with Orton. OVER

Detroit Lions (7.5) – A healthy Matthew Stafford gets the Lions to .500. They have nice weapons on offense. OVER

Green Bay Packers (11.5) – Five wins in the division is a good start toward a 13-3 season, assuming Rodgers stays on his feet. OVER

Houston Texans (8.5) – Like soccer, it always seems to be about the future with this team. Good hit, no field. UNDER

Indianapolis Colts (9.5) – Colts had to swallow hard and shell out for Manning. With six games against Houston, J-Ville and Tennessee, 10-6/11-5 is easily doable. OVER

Jacksonville Jaguars (6) – Jags say they aren’t rushing Gabbert, but any move up in the AFC South happens after he replaces Garrard. PUSH

Kansas City Chiefs (7.5) – Sorry, Chiefs fans. This group is just not as good as advertised. The books know it. 10 wins and another division title is a pipedream. UNDER

Miami Dolphins (7.5) – Dolphins could be first team ever to ban fans from pre-season practices, to prevent them from booing Chad Henne. Miami won’t be as bad at home this year and won’t be as good on the road. UNDER [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Minnesota Vikings (7) – Not a good omen when your starting left tackle eats himself out of the league and is cut in pre-season. UNDER

New England Patriots (11.5) – Lots of defensive problems are solved if Haynesworth is even 85 percent of what he was in Tennessee. OVER

New Orleans Saints (10) – After Super Bowl hangover last season, back to basics. OVER

New York Giants (9.5) – Wouldn’t you love to inject Tom Coughlin with truth serum and find out what he really thinks of Eli Manning? UNDER

New York Jets (10) – Shonn Greene is not Curtis Martin, but a decent season helps cover up Sanchez’s flaws. PUSH

Oakland Raiders (6.5) – Give-back year ahead for Raider Nation. Loss of TE Zach Miller will hurt and Raiders don’t have a QB good enough to stretch the field. UNDER

Philadelphia Eagles (10.5) – 11-5? Sure. That’s reasonable. But so much is predicated on Vick not getting hurt. OVER

Pittsburgh Steelers (10.5) – With no summer team activities, stable teams like the Steelers should be quick out of the chute. OVER

San Diego Chargers (10) – Again the top dog in a division filled with number two, it would be nice if the Chargers started putting in a little effort into September and October games. PUSH

San Francisco 49ers (7.5) – Out of chaos comes opportunity, especially in the NFC West. OVER

Seattle Seahawks (6.5) – Hey, seven wins won the division last year. Let’s push the envelope and see where six gets us. UNDER

St. Louis Rams (7.5) – Lots of roster moves portend a slow start, but Rams are on the rise. OVER

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8) – Bucs are no longer an easy out, especially at home. Too young to cause real damage, but they’ll compete every week. OVER

Tennessee Titans (6.5) – Pacman Jones gone. Albert Haynesworth gone. Vince Young gone. Not the same anymore in Music City. UNDER

Washington Redskins (6.5) – Two words: John. Beck. UNDER
