Kubiak will return to the sideline after suffering a mini-stroke during a loss to Indianapolis on Nov. 3, and missed last Sunday’s franchise-record seventh straight defeat at Arizona.

Meanwhile, the Raiders (3-6) are looking to snap a two-game losing skid after their loss to the Giants last time out.

Quarterback Terrelle Pryor continued his dismal campaign as he struggled to an 11-for-26 performance with 122 yards and an interception versus New York.

Pryor, who is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, has thrown five interceptions with no touchdowns in the last three weeks. However, he does led the league  with 504 rushing yards and needs 26 to pass Rich Gannon’s team record for a quarterback of 529, set in 2000.

The Raiders will need to lean heavily on Pryor since running back Darren McFadden will most likely be sidelined once again with a hamstring injury.

The Texans (2-7)  meanwhile, have fallen on hard times, as their roster continues to dwindle.

The team released safety Ed Reed, a nine-time Pro Bowler who was expected to be one of the leaders of a standout defense on Tuesday, and star running back Arian Foster was placed on season-ending injured reserve due to nagging back issues.

Nevertheless, one of the standouts remaining is star wide receiver Andre Johnson, who has 355 yards and five touchdowns in the three games since Case Keenum took over at quarterback.

Since he stepped in, Keenum has thrown for seven TDs and no interceptions in his first three games.

Not good for Oakland, who ranks 22nd against the pass giving up an average of 250 yards per game.

Matt’s Free Prediction

The Raiders are winless on the road, and have had trouble finding its offense. One of their touchdowns against the Giants came on an interception return and another was set up by a Giants fumble on a kickoff  as the offense produced just 213 total yards.

They will run into a tougher Texans defense this weekend, which has kept Houston in many of its games, having lost their last three games by a combined seven points.

Texans 24, Raiders 21.
