They have a chance to continue to build their record with the Chiefs coming to town.
Kansas City
The Chiefs are coming off the bye but they still have a lot of key players injured as they visit San Diego on Sunday.

Mostly this is affecting the defense where top linebacker Derrick Johnson is out indefinitely and top secondary player Eric Berry is questionable this week. The last time people remember seeing the Chiefs was probably their blowout win over New England on a Monday night.
They are not that team but they are not terrible either.

The key for Kansas City is always rushing the ball, in fact they might have the top 1-2 punch in the league at running back in Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis. Charles has bee a non-factor this season as he has yet to have a 100 yard game and two of his three TDs have come on receptions.
K.C. needs to run the ball well and play keep away to keep the game close.
San Diego
The Chargers are the hottest team in the league right now. They have won five in a row and their lone loss of the season was to Arizona on the road in the opener…by a point. Key to this one will be not looking too far ahead as they have a road game at Denver next week.
It is going to be tough for San Diego to stay with the Broncos this season.
They may be winning games but other than their home win against Seattle they have not been overly impressive.
Philip Rivers is the name most people know but it is the defense that is putting up great numbers this season.
The Chargers are in the Top 9 in all major defensive categories taking pressure off an offense that has to rely on the pass because all of the running backs are hurt.
They are down to 4th string Brandon Oliver so look for Rivers to lead them to another victory on Sunday.
