For a team that hasn’t had a lot of free agent acquisitions work out, the addition of wide receiver DeSean Jackson is a move that has paid off in a big way for the Redskins. Jackson has recorded 784 yards and four touchdowns on the season, amassing over 100 yards in back-to-back games.

Jackson recorded 120 yards and a touchdown on four catches in the team’s 29-26 loss at the Minnesota Vikings in their last game prior to the bye. It was Jackson’s fifth game with 100 or more receiving yards in his first season with the Redskins.

The Redskins are 3-6 for the season. In 2012, the team rang off seven straight victories after starting 3-6 and went on to win the division and make the playoffs. There’s less hope at this point for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are 1-8, even in a wide open NFC South division.

MyBookie

The Buccaneers have been outscored 83-31 in two games against the Atlanta Falcons this season, though last week’s 27-17 loss was far more respectable than the first. Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown was back under center after missing time due to injury. He threw for 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns but also fired two interceptions and lost a fumble. Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Mike Evans caught seven passes for 125 yards and a touchdown in that one.

Free Tampa Bay vs. Washington Pick:

The Redskins simply haven’t done enough to justify giving away better than a touchdown to any opponent this season. They’ll be better with Robert Griffin III back under center, but the team’s deficiencies on both sides of the ball just don’t lend well to building big margins.

Additionally, the total in this game seems low given the quality of both defenses in action in this one.

NFL Betting Trends

The Buccaneers are 15-3-1 ATS in their last 19 games played in Week 11, and they are 21-7-1 ATS in their last 29 games played during the month of November.

The Redskins are 1-5 ATS in their last six games, and they are 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a bye week.

The over is 4-1 in the Buccaneers’ last five road games, and it is 5-0 in the Buccaneers’ last five road games against opponents with a losing home record.

Neither side has had much success on that side of the ball, while both offensive units are trending in the right direction, with each side getting its quarterback back on the field in recent weeks.
