One major concern in this game for the Dolphins has to be their pass defense, which ranks 30th in the league. QB Andy Dalton has the league’s 5th best passer rating and WR A.J. Green has 300 receiving yards in his last 2 games and ranks 2nd in the league in receiving yards. Miami had 8 sacks last week against Arizona and they need to pressure Dalton to help their struggling secondary.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis has not been playing that good not averaging 4 yards per carry in his last 3 games and he may not have a chance to improve upon that facing a Miami run defense that is the top ranked unit in the league. [soliloquy id=”82219″]

Tannehill has passed for 1,000 yards, but he only has 2 TD and 6 INT. He has a couple of good young targets in Brian Hartline, who leads the NFL in receiving yards, and Davone Bess and they will be up against a Cincy pass defense that ranks 17th in the league.

One big key in this game is the play of Dolphins’ RB Reggie Bush, who is averaging a solid 5.5 yards per carry. Miami has to use him early and often, as he will be taking on a Bengals’ run defense that only ranks 24th in the league. Miami cannot get down early, as if that happens they will have to air it out more and that takes away from giving the ball to their bets offensive weapon in Bush.

In some betting trends for this AFC match up the Dolphins are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall, 8-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record, and they have an Under record of 13-5 in their last 18 road games.

The Bengals are 3-7-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall, 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games, and they have an Over record of 7-1 in their last 8 home games.

Jason’s Pick: The Dolphins have a good ATS record and they are not as bad as their 1-3 record, but Dalton will shred the secondary and the Bengals will win and cover.
