NFL Divisional Playoff Preview

The NFL Wild Card Weekend is in the books! Now sports betting fans turn their attention to the Divisional Playoff games.

Which wild card weekend winning teams will take their good fortune into this weekend’s NFL Playoffs? Which teams will falter? What favorites are in for an against the spread beating and which favorites will win against the BetUS online wagering spread?

Let’s take a quick peek at each game this weekend!

NFL Divisional Playoff Games Quick Peek

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans – – The Titans are early online betting favorites by 3 points in this game but I’m already licking my chops as a football betting fan because from what I saw that Ravens defense is dominating once again. Not only did the Ravens take down the Miami Dolphins in their AFC Wild Card game but they took down the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys to finish their season. That’s three straight games. The Ravens look to be tough and the under looks possible at the BetUS Total of 34 ½ points.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers – – The Panthers have been installed as 10 point favorites against the BetUS online betting spread in this game. I’m not sure that the Cardinals have another terrific defensive game in them and stopping Steve Smith is going to be impossible for their rookie cornerback, Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie, to do. I think Rodgers-Cromartie has a huge future in the NFL but Steve Smith is a hall of famer. However, 10 points is a lot in an NFL playoff game. I’m going to take my time deciding the winner against the spread in this one.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants – – The Eagles were terrific against the Vikings in their wild card game victory and they’ve beaten the Giants once this season, but New York has the heart of a lion. The BetUS odds makers have made the Giants a 4 point online betting favorite against the BetUS online football betting spread in this game. I’m hoping that there is some movement on the line for me to gauge what online NFL betting fans are really thinking because I have no clue which team covers against the spread right now. I do think there is a good chance of this game going over the BetUS Total of 41, though.

San Diego Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – – The Chargers went all out to beat the Indianapolis Colts. What Pittsburgh needs to worry about is the fact that San Diego really didn’t need LaDanian Tomlinson to do it. Running back Darren Sproles proved to be more effective than Tomlinson. How will that Chargers’ defensive backfield fair against a well rested Steelers’ team? The BetUS online sportsbook odds makers don’t think it will very well as the Steelers have been installed as 6 point favorites against the spread. This is another game where online football betting fans should wait to see where the line goes.
