Andy Dalton has not been playing well throwing 3 picks in his last 2 games and against the Cowboys he was sacked 5 times. The Eagles have the league’s 15th ranked pass defense and while they gave up 2 passing TD last week they held the Bucs’ Josh Freeman to only 14/34 passing for 189 yards.

In the Dallas loss RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis had his 3-game 100+ rushing yard streak snapped, but he still played well with over 100 yards total and he averaged 7.2 yards per carry. He will be facing a Philadelphia run defense that ranks 17th in the league and gave up 136 rushing yards to the Bucs last week.

Even though Michael Vick can play rookie Nick Foles will start the remaining game for the Eagles and he has played pretty well.[soliloquy id=”82219″]

With no help from the rushing attack in the Tampa Bay win he passed for 381 yards with 2 TD and 0 INT. WR’s Jason Avant and Jeremy Maclin each had over 100 receiving yards last week and the Bengals’ 10th ranked pass D did not play bad last week in the Cowboys’ game, but they could not make a late stop.

LeSean McCoy is a question mark for this game because of his concussion and his backup Bryce Brown had played well in this absence, but really struggled last week against the Bucs only rushing for a grand total of 6 yards on 12 carries. The Bengals totally stuffed the run last week against the Cowboys and if they do so again Foles will have to have another HUGE game.

In some betting trends for this non-conference match up the Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games, 1-7-3 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. loss, and they have an Under record of 5-0 in their last 5 games.

The Eagles are 0-3-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record, 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games overall, and they have an Over record of 4-0 in their last 4 home games.

Jason’s Pick: Yeah the Eagles have had a terrible season, but with Foles playing well I think they will win. Also, the Bengals have not played well facing good teams, which I think the Eagles are despite their woes. Take the Eagles in this game.
