NFL Betting – Week 1 Parlay
LOOKING FOR THE BEST NFL CAPPERS ON THE PLANET FOR YOUR WEEK 1 GAMBLING PICKS??? —>
Forget US Open finals betting, sissy. It’s time for the pinnacle of sports betting – the NFL. Let’s open the season with a parlay.
BENGALS (-4) over BRONCOS
The Broncos could be an NFL betting nightmare this season and the fun could start in Cincinnati this Sunday. We know that (a) The Bronco defense stinks and (b) The Bengal offense, at least in the passing game, should at least approach its heyday with a healthy Carson Palmer and rejuvenated Chad Ochocinco. Complicating matters for Denver: several of its key skill players won’t be 100 per cent. Kyle Orton is dealing with a finger laceration, Knowshon Moreno’s touches could be limited as he recovers from a knee injury and Brandon Marshall may or may not know the playbook. Cincy should be just fine against the discombobulated Broncos.
TEXANS (-4.5) over JETS
While I do think Gang Green will surprise this season thanks to head coach Rex Ryan and the defensive cronies who followed him from Baltimore, the surprise doesn’t start in Week 1. The Jets are missing Calvin Pace and Shaun Ellis, both of whom are suspended. That means the already-potent Texans offense will have an easier time than normal against the Jets. Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson and company should put on a show for the playoff-hungry Texans fans. Mark Sanchez has the weapons to play well in his NFL debut but we can’t get carried away; he’ll take his lumps with Mario Williams breathing down his neck all day.
REDSKINS (+6.5) over GIANTS
Shock and awe! Believe or not, I like the Redskins as NFL picks to at least beat the spread on the road against the mighty Giants. The Redskins quietly had the No. 4 defense in the NFL last season, a bend-but-don’t-break unit that didn’t make flashy plays but kept opponents off the board. Now, Washington gets a full season of DeAngelo Hall at corner and gamebreaker Albert Haynesworth at nose tackle. He’ll cancel out whatever big Brandon Jacobs tries to do on Sunday. The Giants may have trouble throwing the ball too, as no receiver stepped up in the preseason, leading to speculation of a four-man rotation in the starting spots. The Giants will pressure Jason Campbell but he protects the ball well and should caretake his way to a win against the spread if not outright. Any good betting software will tell you the same.
One reply on “NFL Picks: Parlay Of The Week”
I like the Bengals over the Broncos in a big way. Houston should be able to beat the Jets by more than 4. I just do not see Washington upsetting the Giants. Their offensive line will not be able to contain the G-Men.
